I did the TCL Delete and the Jackshaft from Scott Taylor. All I can say is "MONEY WELL SPENT!"... I literally cannot blow a belt now whereas I was blowing a belt on every ride previously. Thank you Scott! You are a genius!

Arctic Cat admitted some of the castings for the TLC were out of spec. They had a kit that had everything, including a new jackshaft for like $220 canadian. Mine was a belt eater for years until I did the kit. My buddy has the OSP clutch tool, now our center to center and parallelism is bang on.

Interesting. Do you know if the kit is still available and what the part number for the kit is? I'm sure that would help a lot of people.

What belt are you running? I was blowing belts every ride if I was hard on it till I switched to a longer belt now its fine.
@EastCoastAntics1 Жыл бұрын
I ran all different brand belts and sizes. That nice a longer belt worked for you. My best luck was with a stock size belt from gates made of rubber and carbon fiber. Since this Tcl delete its been perfect. Still on the same belt since I put this video up and it's tuned, fully studded and we lake race a lot.

I am thinking about adding this to mine. How long did it take from start to finish? Also, mine has the updated jackshaft should I just replace the jackshaft with a Scott Taylor, along with the gears or is the updated shaft from arctic cat sufficient?

Hey. I did a bunch of other things to the sled at the same time, but if I had to guess maybe a total of 6 hours with doing the chaincase, cleaning everything and oil change along with the Tcl delete and jackshaft. From what I understand the stock shaft would break in the middle with the tune and the updated jackshafts from Arctic cat were breaking off at the splines in the chaincase with the tune. I'd do the the jackshaft since it not worth risking destroying the chaincase and chains. My opinion is change everything to Scott Taylor. My sled hasn't skipped a beat and I ride it pretty hard in the top tune most of the time. Also do a lot of drag racing and hard 2 step launches.

@@EastCoastAntics1 Hi Michael, just curious if all your work has been easier on belts...I have an m1100t as well and it's a belt blowing b#@$h!

@@sterlingmcculloch2845 it's sooo much better. I used to be so afraid to go on long trips without a bunch of extra belts. Put about 900 miles on it this season that just past right after I changed everything over and only blew one belt because it got smoked from the clutch because I got stuck in some deep powder. If that didn't happen I doubt I would have blown a single belt. It also had tons of hard launches on 2 step. I used to blow 1 to 2 belts a weekend. I've probably spent over 2k in belts over the last 3 years.

Do you know if it'll work on the 2 stroke models?
@EastCoastAntics1 Жыл бұрын
As far as I know, yes. Pretty sure Scott has a jackshaft specific to the 2 stroke models.
@harleylachapelle5681 Жыл бұрын
@East Coast Antics yeah he's got the jackshaft but nothing for the tlc delete on the 2 strokes trying to see if the brace would work from the 4 stroke
