I'm pretty happy, because my dad just purchased a bmw m3 e90 sedan 3 weeks ago:) I came to my parent's house today, and saw it. I drove it to Encinitas, CA and it was just flawless. it's comfortable, rides smooth, love the v8 sound, 6mt is very responding, and lastly how it looks. I'm really happy about my dad having this car, because he always thought bmw was an unreliable brand. he just prove them wrong, the m3 gets as much mpg as an average Honda pilot, which is great for a v8. yes I know this is a cool story bro moment btw, but I'm just happy to see a bmw in my family. ;)

Jordan Park Well i dont know better then a pro mechanic (or any other mechanic for that matter) but i had 3 bmw´s untill now and my personal experiece was amazing. Ther are the moust reliable cars i ever had...also buy any magazine about cars or search in BMW wiki and i highly doubt you will find somewhere something that sais BMW´s are unreliable cars

I love all BMWs but my favorite M5 will always be the E39 with a 6MT and that good old normally aspirated V8 motor. The perfect balance of style and performance.

i recently purchased this car and was in a huge debate over buying a new 2014 or used 2013 one. so far its been alright its probably going to get a little more pricey over the years. we use to have a Audi and it was a nightmare the dealerships make up crazy problems just to drain your wallet. so far ive had a much better Experience with BMW.

What I really don't like about your reviews is that you let the cars running while you are reviewing the exterior. 1. Its bad for the car. 2. You are wasting fuel. 3. It's just doesn't add anything to the review. Also, you rev it way too high, you completely ignore the recommended break in procedure by BMW. If you read the owners manual, it says till 1200 miles, do not rev it over 4500 rpm. I would not buy this particular BMW M5 if I knew what happened with the car.

It sounds awesome...thats what it adds to the review As for break in procedure these engines were built to be driven hard and lets face it, thats what warranty is for. Especially if you have the money to fork out for one of these bad boys.

vakaviti11 1. If you let a car idle too long, especially when the engine is cold, it causes extra wear on the engine. 2. No. 3. If you rev it, it sound okay, but an idling car is just annoying. Besides it's just bad for the environment. These engines are indeed built to be driven hard AFTER the break in procedure (which is 1200 miles). Why else would BMW recommend not to drive faster than 106mph, and not go over 5500RPM in the owners manual. (BMW M4) Also, Launch control is unlocked after 1200 miles. There is a reason BMW does this, so do many other (premium) car brands.

SuperDigitalDanny If you let the engine idle cold, it warms up the oil and it's better for the engine. You think putting load on a cold engine is better for it than letting it idle, which is low rpm and no load on it? Wow, you know very little about engines and I feel sorry for anyone who bought a car you've sold, if they didn't go to the junkyard.

snakesonaplane2 Its best to drive away right when you start it, and not letting it warm up for 10 minutes by letting the car idle. When you drive away, you should keep the rpm low. Isn't this common knowledge? Oh and BMW recommends this method in the owners manual.

3:55 if you're in 2nd gear Im pretty sure gear 1 isn't prepped, only 3rd. Its a dual clutch so only 2 gears can be engaged at once. Thats why downshifts are slower then up shifts in a dct.
