I drained the motor oil from the oil pan. I removed the nuts that attach to the bottom of the catalytic convertor. I pre-lube all the nuts. I used a torch gun on all the nuts. I tightened & loosened all the nut until they came off. I unplugged 2 sensor cables. I did not have to support the exhaust pipe. I carefully removed the catalytic convertor. I am not a professional mechanic, i learn as I do the job. I am trying to help save my daughter money by not taking it to a mechanic shop. I am not that great on how to torque a nut or bolt. I will need to learn it. Next is the removal of the oil pan. I'm not sure if the exhaust pipe will be in my way. I am able to move it around now. I hope there is enough room to get the oil pan out & put it back in. If not, then I will remove the exhaust pipe. Note: You can use an 8mm ratchet wrench to remove a E10 screw.
