thanks for sharing! working on replacing alternator on my daughters 2018 encore and couldn't figure out how to get the alternator out, looks like i gotta take that motor mount off (i didn't want to). you made it look easy though. thanks for taking the time to share!

@@RBTheMechanic HAHAHA I just got quoted by the dealership for this exact job at $1235 I said no thanks I got a floor jack, tools, and another buddy mechanic thank you very much. I swear the engineers at the expense of both us and the mechanics try to make what should be a simple job as annoying and difficult as possible so they can justify those insane labor rates.

@ this was stupid design but u can do it!!! I just had one ford it was freakin pump runs with alternator belt but it long and goes inside timing cover then timing tensioner sits and bolts on water pump I closed the car back FML it’s Friday not up for this type of engineering Bs
