2013 Chevrolet Camaro RS EVAP purge valve failure valve was stuck open causing a vacuum leak, rough idle, and poor fuel economy check engine error code P0496 evaporative emission system high purge flow

Yo man did you noticed different noice coming form the new one shortly after engine start

@@danield3566 I noticed that it was quieter and an occasional rattle I used to hear is no longer present. It starts right up and idles much much smoother. It feels like it did when I bought it.

My Camaro won’t let me put gas in it, either coughs it up. Or lots of gas comes from bottom by my exhaust

My Camaro had the same issue it wouldn’t auto fill at the pump there’s also a charcoal canister under the car that can get clogged under the car as well not as common on gm cars as it is in trucks

@@bayzauto1482 mine was a purge valve but since 1 day after I posted that I have been putting gas in and I haven’t fixed the purge yet I don’t drive it much and they said all it is less gas mil

When it’s stuck open it constantly pulls fuel vapor from the gas tank causing a vacuum leak, my car would stutter off the line and have idle issues and in a manual car like mine I had to keep the rpm’s over 1000 first gear was not fun 😂 clutch dumps at every stop to keep it from stalling

@@bayzauto1482 this sounds very familiar although I have an automatic. I got the P0442 code and shortly after the engine shuddered at idle and I got the "Service Stabilitrak - Engine Power is Reduced!" message and threw a new code P0191 - Fuel Rail Pressure Sensor 'A' Circuit Range/Performance.” Do you think it can be related?
