Nice video, I’m loving my 08 Ds450x, when it runs lol. The KTM 450sx is 51hp stock, that was the most for a stock 450. But the DS has plenty of power!!

Would you still recommend a ds 450 today? My buddy had one and I absolutely loved it! I only worry about finding parts when I need them. I’m in the market for a trx 250r now but still plan on getting a 4 stroke I can beat and just hop on and go. It’s between a ds 450 or a trx 450r like I had before

That seems a bit high. I bought mine for around 4300 Canadian I think. It all depends on condition and mods tho so it could be an alright price. Mine was all stock.

Hey man awesome videos. I have an 08 DS450 and having that hard start issue when it will crank slow., replaced battery fuses ,relays, starter,starter solenoid and checked all connections do you have any suggestions other then decompression valve? Thanks

From what I read online the decomp seems to be a pretty common issue so I don't really have any other suggestions. If I figure mine out I'll let ya know 😂. It does suck that the only way to fix the decomp is replacing the entire exhaust cam especially when you don't even know if that's even the problem for sure.
