Hey JP installer here. What I like to do with these is remove the radio panel and that top panel all in one. Loosening the radio panel gives you the ability to pull the top panel off by hand no panel tools required

Great video. Question im installing a single din. The aftermarket wiring harness does not have a red acc wire. After i remove the old headunit will i have access to the ciggarette lighter so i can tap it into that?

Im sorry the headunit harness does not have the red acc. But the aftermarket does. I was going to tap into the cigareette lighter. Will i have access to it after removing those trim pieces

I have a tricky one for you. I have a 1995 jeep cherokee that pretty much needs everything replaced, rebuilding the sound system from scratch pretty much. How would i go about doing that and what all would i need?

Well your speaker size is 5.25 for front and rear I think and you need a dashkit (Metra 99-5700)for a single din radio and wire harness (metra 70-1002) double check those model numbers

So I installed a JVC kw-m150bt into my 2014 avenger, following some of your instructions ( thanks btw, super helpful ). Everything is working as far as I can tell BUT my little info center on the left side of the steering wheel says “RadioOff” now and I can’t figure out exactly why? My old radio had an antenna for satellite radio that My new stereo doesn’t support, could that be why? I can’t find anything online on it.

You can put in an apple carplay radio but I don't know about adding apple carplay software to a factory radio is that's what your asking?

yes it will work. they are 3 different variations of this dashkit and im trying to get the perfect one that i like to use but metra keeps switching the design up but yes the one in the description works fine.

Your wiring vid shows basic radio installs which are simple. My radio for my avenger has parking brake wires, green wires. So an update would be really helpful. Especially if u can show how to keep swc functions.

they are in my how to playlist there are 3 different steering wheel control modules that you can use and i have 3 different videos on how to install them to keep the swc working. with the parking brake you just have to tap into the parking brake wire at the brake harness every cars brake switch is in different locations but i also have a video on bypassing the parking brake. they are all in this how to playlist kzbin.info/aero/PLYFUxPvWJ02cYcij9ny-UAb9KScQeCgkf
