Please can you explain how you got the grill to match the body color? Did you buy a black grill and paint it?

I wired some grill lights like you did but was wondering , the grill lights should stay on while driving, correct?...Mine go on when I unlock the car but when starting truck, grill lights will not stay on, I also noticed that when truck is off and I turn lights on , the grill lights work. Once the truck started though, nothing. Any help or thoughts would be appreciated.

They're not tapped in to the right connection. Connect them to a front running light. They'll come on with the running lights.
