It was very common for the 3rd brake light to leak in this generation of F-150. That’s why it was siliconed. So if you didn’t reseal it you should consider it as not to get water damage in your interior. A cheap way to upgrade your wheels is to get the factory Ford FX4 20” I did for my truck and I luv em. They come in black or silver and it gives the truck a cleaner look. And I think it rides better. You can find them online for around $300. Great job on your F-150 Really looks sharp.

Silicone around the 3red brake light was a recall fix for a leak. Factory had a crappy piece of foam that was supposed to seal the light to the cab.....didnt work.so ford said silicone it. If you have a leak in the back around the back window check the 3rd brake light.

I can concur to this as I had an issue with water getting in and I didn’t know where till I did some research. Replaced that high mount stop light with the same led unit and it fixed the problem. Using Silicone was a cheap fix for Ford and shame on them for that.

@@garthur6925 - I love mine too. I just went to Sturgis trailering my Harley. My trailer is only 5x8 just right for 1 bike. I was getting 13-14 mpg at 75-80 with the ac on! I finally figured out how to use the Trailer Mode. It worked great on my CO trip after Sturgis. It will actually engine break for you on downhill grades. My next upgrade is rear shocks for pulling a bigger trailer next year. I should mention that I replaced the air cleaner to a K+N just before the trip. Next year Daytona Bike Week!

Did you seal off the 3rd brake light? Those years had a bad seal on those lights and would leak. I had to go over it with a sealant to keep the water out. My liner is stained and was smelling.

I bought my 2010 FX4 brand new and it doesn't look HALF as nice as this. I didn't replace my front light assemblies, but I did swap out the halogen's for LEDs and it's eye opening the difference, but now I wish I replaced the assembly as yours look slick. The big issue I have is the FX4 has the build in reverse camera in the rear view mirror and nobody has done any videos that I've seen where they replace this with a stereo like yours and integrate the camera into the stereo instead of the stupid mirror. I'm now ordering the raptor grille kit - I've debated this for years and yours just looks so damn nice you talked me into it.

Looks good man. Not sure if you're looking at wheel and tire packages but you can fit up to 35's by taking off the air dam on the front there. I also got Mickey Thompson rims and it looks good. Not sure where you're wanting to go with your truck, but I'm trying to make mine look like a raptor clone. Next up for me is the headlights and taillights. Love the truck man.

Your link for the Raptor grill no longer works. I also noticed that the grills displayed did not show the word "Ford". Probably due to copyright restrictions. Some of the grills apparently had pieces to attach to the grill to get the proper letters without actually displaying the "F" word. Was this the case with your grill or did you get the grill with "Ford" on the front before the copyright violations had to change things?

Great work, the interior radio replacement n adding screen, about how much was that to install. I’m thinking of using Best Buy to put in a new radio (my radio died n the piece to fix it is $700 so I’ll put a new unit in, I’m not paying $700 for a plastic piece) n have them add the video screen with the back up camera feature I want to look like it’s part of the original equipment tho. It’s came out real nice I love the halogen u put in n pretty much all ur work done looks real sick.
