I have 07 myself well I'm 6 thousand miles from 200,000 and it still has power . Keep up with the regular oil changes are good to go. And other services as well. And it can Outlast a Lexus.

Has the ac been reliable to you because my friend always change the ac gas every week and I’m going to buy it from him and I’m living in Middle East so good ac is a must here

@@laksh._.9995 had to change the condenser other than that it works not great but it works and where I live in the summertime it's a must as well because this ridiculous humidity not the Heat just that stupid humidity it serves no purpose for us. But other than that it works.. I don't have to fill up every week probably by the end of the season most likely it sounds like your friend has a leak somewhere in the system should have that checked out but what that sounds like to me is that he has a leak in the AC somewhere? That's how I found out my condenser was leaking but his might be a hose so yeah it's going to be a fun diagnose it's.

@@laksh._.9995 and don't forget you have to AC units in your vehicle so make sure wherever you're looking for leaks for the AC unit just make sure it's not leaking from the back but once you find the leak you fix it and then and you should be fine after that point her unless he didn't change out blower motor or anything like that for an actuator but it does sound like there is a leak somewhere before my condenser went I went almost a year and I was frustrated not knowing where the leak was at but make it easier to check the condenser which is in front of your radiator pick up the plastic cover that's on the front take that off and see if there's any kind of green or any type of fluids leaking that isn't antifreeze and you should have two hoses on the top left which would be in the driver side the hose or where it's welded in and see if any type of leak is coming from there I never took out a condenser before but there was a few swear words that came about and stepping away a couple times and it was fixed but Lana SOB's were said. Unless you're good with your hands you can do it yourself if not take it to the shop get an estimate if that's the case. But you can definitely see where it would be leaking if you were to use AC Freon with leak test and it's over to make it easier for you to identify where you can throw a blue light on it cuz finding out where it is, is the fun part..

Thank you very much umm..I’m planning to buy 2014 Mitsubishi shogun/pajero/montero I guess expedition is really expensive to maintain and it’s rated 2.5/5 (2014 Xlt) and I’m really scared cause one thing goes down I might not be able to fix it and also I know expeditions are full size and Mitsubishi pajero/montero/shogun is a mid size the size really doesn’t matter for me I just want a good 7 seater family suv I’m very thankful for your comment 😌

@@laksh._.9995 well good luck with that it's expensive to maintain but so is a Mercedes but people still buy it but it's not so expensive if your hands on but just like any car you have to maintain it regardless if it's a Honda Toyota Mercedes BMW Volkswagen it's simple you don't take care of it won't take care of you but and for decades a lot of parts for these vehicles the standard of quality for American vehicles which is outsourced from other countries their quality today don't care as much as they would her if it were a Japanese car Korean car European Vehicle the quality isn't what it used to be and I'm real surprised people haven't been on their butts about that all these cars are designed for are to be thrown away just be aware also Mitsubishi aren't that great be cautious as well. And be safe aware that it really isn't that expensive because vehicles have parts that wear out that's part of service brakes suspension drivetrain it doesn't matter what you get your going to be faced with a dilemma and some in some cases can cost a lot more but if you are good with maintaining your vehicles then you shouldn't have a problem but again the basic my maintenance oil changes tires brakes suspension but that's basic service and the thing is people tend to think that some cars are better than others and they can run it for many many miles without touching it or doing anything to it it might last 60,000 and might last a hundred thousand might last 150 miles. But that's a gamble that I'm willing not to take fluids breakdown and that has nothing to do with the cars that's just the way they're the design and the best word of advice if you get a vehicle try to be ahead of the service with maintaining fluids tires all these things that are going to start adding up in the future just be ahead or on point with your maintenance and you should be fine and have a trusted mechanic. I'm not a Certified mechanic but I do work on my vehicles and maintain them to perform well I'm not the best mechanic in the world the simple things do work oil changes fluid changes it doesn't mean just particularly the motor differentials you have transmission fluid antifreeze these are vital don't think because you're doing oil change that that's going to take care of everything else just be aware of what you need to take care of and it will take care of you that is the best advice I can give good luck take it easy and be safe out there...

What oil viscosity do you use? Somebody told me to use 10w-30 instead of the Ford recommended 5w-20. I found out that 5.4 3v engine are known for cam phaser failure due to low oil pressure. And using the higher viscosity takes care of the problem. Not sure if my friend’s suggestion is valid or not.

My Dad has a 2014 Navigator with the literal same engine. It’s never had a check engine light (so far) and it has never had that issue. But all I’d say is make sure it was well taken care of and make sure to maintain it properly if you want it to last.

Oh and the other thing is put some money aside for your coffee another expense they don't tell you about.
