2013 Ford F150 Ignition Switch Replacement

Been chasing electrical issues in my truck for a few years now. Seemed to be the stupid battery monitoring system so i took care of that with forscan. Upon the issue popping up again I used forscan to check for trouble codes and came up with b10f1-14 "Additional Fault Symptom: Circuit Short To Ground or Open. Module: Body Control Module" I hadnt been able to find much except people saying its the lock cylinder.
Come to find out that similar year ford escapes have an issue with the actual ignition switch, where on days when the cab gets to hot, it causes a no start issue. So after reading that plus the short to ground, i decided to tackles the cheaper issue first. Lets see what happens as the warmer California months approach. Will be fixing the lock cylinder soon as well.
**UPDATE**
So far this fix has worked! No more glitchy cluster, door chime is solid always, and havent had any battery drain issues. Will it last? TBD.
