Excellent review, loaded with information! Really like the car as well. Its very modern and fresh. Too bad Ford doesn't sell too many of these. That center stack is wonderfully designed as well- in my opinion, Ford's best implication of MFT.

Great review, as always :) I'm hoping we get this when we rent from Alamo (Miami) in April. I hate mini-vans (or as we call them..goober models lol) too and so does my husband but the Ford Flex seems to give the mini-van comfort with that awful look lol. Keep those reviews coming and thanks for the laughs too ;)

I LOVE MINIVANS! Haha. I use to think you could get a lot of vehicle for your $ with say a 7 passenger minivan. Lots of extra steel and cargo and places to sit and ample cubby holes and compartments. Well Tony the FLEX gets 18/25 FWD and 17/23 AWD.

We have the Titanium/Red Ecoboost. I used it for 3 months. The only thing I hated about this car is the touch sensitive controls instead of real buttons and knobs. Especially this winter where you have to frequently adjust the temperature control. In this car, you have to take off your eyes from the road to make an adjustments. This is a bad design from Ford. This is not a "Tablet" this is a real car. So get us a real knobs and buttons.

And I agree that I prefer style over the minivan. How selfish of me. To answer your question I think the FLEX is awesome. And when I heard you could Equipped it with a refridgerator in the back between to captain chairs I thought THIS IS IT MAN. IT NEEDS RECLINING REAR SEATS. AND IPAD HOLDERS BUILT IN. I think. That will be next. Tray tables built in.

the new 2013 golf is a much improved car the review u posated earlier was of a very pld golf the new golf is much better and much improved so wanna compare it with ford focus which is its main european rival and allways crashes its sales party

Yeah, I can see why you don't like them, but I can see why they are so popular. Sliding doors means the kids wont damage the parked vehicle next to you, and they have just as much room as SUV's with better MPG. Other than that, I agree.
