I have a question since the stock mufflers is already adjusted for the engine and sensor and do you have to reprogram the computer system to have it give out more when the new exhaust is installed to get the most out of it

Yes. To get the most hp & tq from an aftermarket exhaust system you must get the vehicle tuned using Hondata flashpro or Ktuner.

I saw borlas review for this exhaust and honestly it sounded pretty stock, I guess they're mic doesn't do it justice because it sounds good in this video. does it still have the resonator?

BrownBacha so basically it was just a sound upgrade. I also have a Borla 11840 just installed in my 2014 V6 Sedan. Can't wait to pair it up with my exhaust. Something to add- seems like my mpg improved with the Borla and I've driven 200 miles since full tank and it barely hit half-tank both mixed driving in V6 and ECO mode.

Zeno916 It's not very loud during normal driving but you can hear the tone of the exhaust. It is definitely quiet enough for you to drive your mom around. The exhaust gets loud when you are flooring it so I think it is an amazing exhaust.

Very mellow. My 2013 has the Borla axle back. And it has a magna flow high flow catylitic converter. It had the setup when I got it. U think its tuned already than? It doesn't have any O2 sensor after or in the catylitic Converter??

It most likely already has a tune because when you change the catalytic converter, a tune is highly recommended, if not necessary for the car to run properly.

m turley They slightly give more HP but not much. The borla axelback is lighter than the stock system and allows more air flow. If I were to make an estimate, it would give an additional 15 HP or so.

Most axleback (high flow) systems would give *maybe* 5 hp if you're lucky, in most cases you wouldn't feel any difference, this applies to pretty much any vehicle.

Definitely not 15hp from an axelback. A catback at least eliminates the midpipe resonator which reduces the restriction of airflow. To maximize HP gain from exhaust bolt ons I would recommend a catback system paired with a j pipe.

You'll be fine. This axle back doesn't do much more than changing the sound of your car. You won't get a check engine light unless it was installed incorrectly. You're probably thinking about pre cat deletes. It's a common performance mod for the accord that will change the way your car drivess

Deezy Dre pre cat deletes add a noticable amount of power for the Accord V6. They replace the catalytic converter allowing less restriction for airflow. It'll make the car a lot louder. With precat deletes you would want to get a tune to make sure your car is running efficiently. For the axleback exhaust, you don't have to worry about a tune because the changes arent significant
