I apologize for not being super clear with the wiring. The reason why is we had some issues with the backup camera, so we had to troubleshoot a bit and some of the footage got lost in the process. Make sure you plug in both canbus boxes (the transparent red box) and every plug you can possible plug in. Feel free to ask any questions below and i'll help you out further. If you have the wires in front of you the wires will make sense because the plugs only fit in one way!

Hey bro quick question,,, does you screen is easy to see?? I got a similar and the angle make is impossible to see it when you are seated! It is justa. Bright white screen and hard to see it until I face it in the right angle… is the same for your?? I believe it is the lowe quality screen? Know that people might be having issues with the back up camera and lane watch. Me and my buddy figured it out with a lot of trial and error, but we figured to make it work like factory. The first thing is that, you have to have the right harness for the car model. My buddy’s accord was an 2014 Honda accord EX-L. If you are having issue with the back up camera not showing up, make sure that the small two pin are connected correctly. Example, out of the box, the cables connected as A1 to A. In which, it made the backup camera to not show up when we put it into reverse. We unplugged the A1 from A and plugged in A2 into A. Guess what! It worked! As for the lane watch, we went into the factory setting in extra setting. The code is “126”. After you have entered into the setting, you want to go to canbus and look for “right view”. An make sure that you turn it to normal beside of hide.

Michael, were you able to have the rear and side cameras display on the upper iMID screen? Mine is showing up on the new 10" screen where it doesn't look as good because it's the same resolution displayed on the bigger screen. My upper screen is blank and does not display the fuel consumption info nor the camera views. I also have a 2014 EX-L (w/out navi).

@@thephiliptan the right view only shows up on the headunit. The reverse shows on both but the top display was very dim at night. As for the fuel gauge and other things on the top display, as my buddy always have it turned off. But there might be a setting to change it.

Definitely checking this out for my 2017 Accord, looks amazing, only thing I wish is that the bezel on the left was a little bigger to accommodate buttons instead of those touch screen buttons, like on the 2018-present accord EDIT: Just wanted anyone reading this comment to read the replies for an explanation on what I ended up doing. In a nutshell: I ended up not going through with it and instead upgraded to a 2018 Accord 2.0T for the superior interior design. I loved and will always love the 2017 Accord but the interior is just terrible, it is how it is. Feel free to ask any questions you may have though I did learn a thing or two about installing a head unit such as this.

@@julianperoune1467 Unfortunately I was so tired of having bad options so no sorry to report, I ended up getting a 2018 Accord, the system is MILES better, however at this point, I'd recommend just getting a 2021 Accord or 2022 Civic with Wireless Carplay, I've come to realize, aftermarket options for wireless carplay are shit and never work 100%

@@ratkins2780 I ended up not doing it. I know this is not what you want to hear, and I loved my V6 but I found an insane deal and just upgraded to a 2018 Accord 2.0T. I love it way more than the V6 and am so happy with it. Sold the V6 for like 19.5k then bought the 2018 for 19k. Went from a 2017 V6 EXL to a 2018 2.0T EXL. Definitely worth it. Sound system is better but still not substantial. Not until the 2023 11th gen where it's actually bose and a decent sound system. However screw hybrids so if you were to get a new car go for a 21-22 Touring. Best option out right now. I did interact with other people who did change it though and they said it was worthwhile and way better so it's ultimately up to you. Again I know what I did isn't what you want to hear but it is what it is. 2017 Accord is fantastic in every way, except for the horrible and I mean horrible interior, nothing about it is good at all. The 10th gen interior is a stark contrast and just absolute perfection in terms of design. The 11th gen is not quite perfection but has everything you need. Sucks the exterior is ugly

As an installer by trade I've gotten to the point that I refuse to install any of those made in China, unknown brand, tablet wannabe radios. Every single one I have ever installed for my clients lasted less than a year before they crapped out. Nowadays I'll only install name brand units (Pioneer, Kenwood, Alpine, etc...). Fyi, Metra makes a kit that lets you retain everything the oem radio has without having to go nuts trying to figure everything out.

I just installed it on my 2017 accord it took me 2h. It was fairly easy the two bolts below the radio were the hardest part. The camera I've decided to kept it on the upper display cause in the radio it looks kind of bad resolution, and I lost the line guides. it shows them but they won't move with the steering wheel. the A/C won't appear like in yours, but the door it shows them as in your does. a couple of cables were not connected maybe I mess up something but anyway is working great. thanks for the video it helps me a lot.

you are going to connect the two yellow RCA connectors labeled cameras. then you test it until you get it as you like it. try both options and see what you like the most. I installed mine at night maybe that affected the quality of the camera

@@christian9211 I mean I'd be doing it soley for the Apple Carplay which is wireless but dude be careful, I've heard people say after about 3 months the FM/AM radio starts to be staticy and cut out, which doesn't make sense to me but they said that, the wireless carplay was buggy, and that the clock would sometimes go to 24 hour time randomly, idk if Dasaita fixed that yet, seems like only software issues to me, please do keep it updated though this is a huge project and if it works out might still have interest, good luck! Edit: I got a 2017 EXL V6, I've been told it works with all models and on top of that MAKE SURE YOU ORDER THE SPECIAL HARNESS WITH IT IF YOU HAVE 2 SCREENS, THIS IS IMPORTANT

Basically, you have the exact same model as his, I understand his is 2014 Sport model, but there is no difference between LX and Sport. So you should be fine doing this mod. As mentioned in his video, everything is functional.

If you have the right turn signal LaneWatch on your Honda Accord and can't get it to work there is a separate attachment. It will be an extra set of cables with labels like "GND" and "Front Camera." The "Front Camera" cable should be yellow and you will want to plug that cable into "BSM VIN." The extra cables will connect into the Dasaita head unit and should plug into the second from lower left pins (If you're looking at the tablet from the front screen." After plugging "Front Camera" and "BSM VIN" together, your LaneWatch right turn signal camera should work. Cheers.

Just got it and love it, but nothing is perfect. Oh well still better than the old one don’t need to plug in my phone to connect my phone through a wire.

I also installed wireless charging, be aware it does not fit any large phones (I have an iPhone 12 pro Max). The only cons I have are that the back up camera guidelines do not show the trajectory based off the steering wheel. And there is a slight constant sound of feedback when nothing is playing.

Yeah thats the part they left out … for some reason🙄 you basically have to leave the oem unit connected and hide it somewhere… in the dash or glove box and get what ever power you need from the old dect to the new … and connect speaker wire from old deck to the new .. a bit tricky but can be done

Video good but incomplete. You do not address how to connect to Honda bluetooth radio located below Honda radio to use the pin (15) light blue, that connects to light blue wire in steering wheel clock spring, so that 3 steering wheel telephone buttons work. 5 steering wheel sound buttons work, probably via can bus. It is very difficult to undo socket to OEM Bluetooth radio (HFL) and it is near impossible to tap into it, so may need to by 32 pin socket from Ali Express. Also CB077 cable needs to be used not CB039, both cables provided by Dasaita with poor instructions. TFT and CANBUS boxes need to be moved to CB077, at least for me, 2013 Accord EX M6. Some Hondas may have 16 pin socket for HFL device, so a different pin (light blue) needs to be tapped. I have no found any video that provides the details I just provided.

I have a 2016 Ex-L with apple CarPlay, but this head unit is completely bricked, and I’ve noticed other owners experiencing the same issue as I have, such as freezing, display not working, or cutting off audio to the point I have to restart my car lol. I have the same issue with my car (2017 accord). Seems to be a very common issue and an annoying one at that. It's common enough that I'm honestly surprised there hasn't been a class action lawsuit over it yet. Multiple dealership visits later and one head unit later it's still a problem.

@@jkwinningham same problem with my ex the navigation just froze in the middle of the highway. i was so scared. but i have a solution to this and specificaly for the people facing the same problem like me. i know this might be uncommon problem to most 9th gen accord owners but i am sure one of them. the trick is to connect your phone with the car but turn off siri what that does is you can play your music and the speakers of the car will connect with that but the navigation wont be connected with the car. its going be there in your phone, you can use a phone stand to hold your phone and listen to music. i know its not a solution and i am also in the market for buying a after market screen but I want to understand what is the actual problem that I am facing before doing any changes.

Plug and play. You can choose to connect to top screen or on the HU. I bought a Y adapter and hooked both screens for fun lol

@@ericmunyon6994 did you connect the Yellow RCA plugs from the CANBUS to one of the other Yellow plugs? One yellow plug is for seeing the back up camera on the headunit. The other yellow plug is for seeing the backup camera on the I-mid screen

I just had this installed. The backup camera works but only wide view works and the lines are a bit off. But the music doesn’t shut off if you go into your settings and toggle reverse music on/off

I have a 2014 EXL too and it came with navi and a touchpad where this was installed. I don't think this will work for such spec. Does yours have a touchpad too?

Does the starter grind? If so then it's a common problem for these my 2015 did it too and I went with a lifetime warranty starter as it will happen again.

@@samir4021 Mine was too and I went to Orilies and got a lifetime starter. these v6's have a flaw in the starter and you do not want to grind all the teeth off of your flywheel cause it is apart of the torque converter if you are auto.

Look at it this way: the head unit is a “android tablet” and the “apple CarPlay” is a app within the tablet.

@@eyem27 mines work only on dasaita screen you can try messing with the yellow wire to see which one it is for the lane watch or check in settings to see if everything is enabled

Hi I've watched this video, so I ended up getting this same radio in my 9th gen accord too. I got it professionally installed. I love this radio and I've got alot of compliments to it. The only issue I have is that you can't change my car settings. Especially when I did an oil change only way for me to reset the oil light is through the radio which it doesn't allow me, not just that either basically every function for my car. Please help me if you can thanks!

I bought and installed this unit for my 2017 Accord Touring 2.4L. I had it professionally installed at a shop, the shop mentioned they didn't in include an antenna adapter for the radio in the box and gave the wrong usb adapter (they provided a Toyota one instead of Honda). Other than that they said everything else was plugged in correctly. My upper iMid display and right LaneWatch camera aren't working. Does anyone know if there are specific settings I need to change to get them to work? My canbus option is currently set to 76 ACCORD 13 (BiNaRui), I don't know if that has anything to do with it.
