I just ordered the same part for my wifes Pathfinder, the part looks identical. Is this part somewhat popular in failing??? I have an obvious exhaust leak.... the first shop I took it to thought it's the manifold gasket....brought to another and the guys there think it's def this part.....curious if you've seen thos part fail often times or not??? Most of this cars with this engine have this problem so soon or later your flex pipe will start leaking! You should get ready to replace it

@@mechanicmode I've got a long socket 15mm on the back 3 that feel snug, but the front won't take, 5/8 seems snug, but I don't want to end up stripping a bolt, they're rusted to hell

Man I was driving last night in heavy rain and them all sudden my car sound like a jet engine…. Woke up this morning took a look and see a leak on the flex pipe area by the bolts. I see smoke leaking out … Probably this issue…. I have a 2014 Nissan Pathfinder.. so it’s very common issue ?

Yes man this is a common problem for Nissan and Infiniti in this part of the exhaust to get bad

@@mechanicmode man replaced it. Removing those bolts was a bitxh… 2 got stripped had to use a bolt extractor.. the new pipe bolts did not fit lol. Did you have issues with new bolts? Bolts I got were slightly bigger threads … had to reuse old ones but. Still missing 2 Any idea where I can find these bolts ?
