2013 Lexus RX350 Steering column fix

If you are mechanically inclined and have the right tools eg. ( I needed a pulley puller to remove the steering wheel it was on tight. ) it could be done in 2hrs . If it's your first time budget 4-6hrs.

@@peepshatta ok great! Also, you mentioned it may be possible but difficult to get away without removing the whole column. Is it possible to just remove the 2 bolts that attach the motor so that this piece can be replaced?

I have the exact same model. And when i run the VIN number this part doesn’t exist.. is it for sure this part number for RX350 2013? Thank you

It was a 2013 Lexus RX350 . They say the damper 45254-28040 is for 2015 up but it worked perfect for me . www.ebay.com/itm/255541372075

​@@TBone353I'm going to try and fix it tomorrow on a 2010 rx350, I believe it will work because this is a 2013 and it's identical in the steering because it's replaced the column before. I'll let you know.

Was it just for rattling or it also made your steering soft? Mine has rattling and also is stiff to turn. Thanks for your time.

Mine was just rattling when you go over bumps or over 60 , steering wasn't soft .
