It's kinda awkward when you have a couple of thousand subscribers and you don't give a fuck about them. If you quit or something at least you should tell us.

Just brought one.....so i guess i'm NOT NORMAL.....lol. I tried other "normal cars" like Audi Q3 and Volvo CrossCountry.....once i had a test in the MINI Countryman there was just no contest if you want a car that you will look forward to driving and have fun.....if not then just buy a normal car.

@@buildmorefarms1007 Had two over many years, the R55 Clubman S with the N14 engine...and the R60 Countryman JCW with N18 engine. With the N14 engine...change the oil/filter frequently. I also installed an oil catch can and a magnetic oil pan plug (both after market). I still have this car (garaged) and find it heaps of fun to drive. The Countryman JCW is a more useful car for me with its ALL4 and bench rear seat, as I live amongst high mountains and have teenagers. These high powered turbo charged 4 cylinder engines require attention. Always try to keep the oil at or near full on the dip stick. Change the oil& filter 2x as frequently as OEM recommended (ie. 10,000+ miles divided by 2). This will help to avoid timing chain and turbo issues, particularly on the N14's. As a ritual, I check oil levels after every second fuel tank refill. As a former Porsche owner for years (before the kids arrived), I really enjoy the kart-like responsiveness of these sporty vehicles. Even the bigger Countryman still has that Mini feel to it. Even with care, you will still need to prepare for both the inevitable timing chain and thermostat replacements on or about 100K miles. Do them together when possible to avoid additional labor costs. If you begin to hear the infamous timing chain rattle during cold start...get it replaced ASAP. DO NOT let this linger, or you may get a timing chain failure and destroy the engine.

This review is way too pretentious...

The handle pinches the skin of your hand? Bless, cool review I appreciate how direct you are being but a lot of this was uneducated guesses calling opinion as factual, most of the issues you pointed out weren’t actually issues at all, and there is many differences between JCW and base models, you should have done some research before you made this review, not that it matters now 6 years later and your channel appears to be dead so I’m basically talking to a ghost

Sounds like he hated it prior to driving it, but after a week he loved it. But he like beige cars in the end.

I own a 2013 standard Countryman (non-turbo) and I find it's fast enough to get around town and on the highway. For $24k, it's an excellent car. Perhaps the turbo model has some lag, and that's why you're griping about the torque (mine is naturally aspirated, so I don't have that problem). What's amazing about this car is ppl still stare at it and are curious, and still fun to drive, despite being the base model. Can't say that for many base models of cars at that price range.

you just think people stare at you becaue ur ego took over. If you buy a car for people to stare at you and gain recongition, you have an issue. Go see a doctor.

I still think it looks "ungainly" and without the sweet proportions of the other Minis

Stupid to say its 37k on the website, The ford f150 can be 55k on the website, but you can still get them for 10k off that! So MSRP isn't really that final.

The SLOWEST talking man on earth!!!!!! He pauses for a second between each fecking word!!! If you are getting a countryman all 4, I would get the countryman S. It's a fair amount cheaper than the john cooper works edition and the performance is almost the same. Sure the works edition is quicker off the line but for the extra cost it isn't worth the extra 9k! The standard cooper version is a little slow but it all depends on what you are looking for. The cooper s for a little more cash gives a lot better performance. I do believe that mini is bringing out a new version soon though where the cooper s will have a 2l turbo instead of a 1.6! Looking forward to one of those!

Haha you might like a to try to find a 1989 Honda Just so you don't get confused with the complexity of a car. Also, you seem not to be educated about the depth of the jcw... Haha you basically round up this video comparing a base mini and a jcw is basically the same car lol. Poor guy Worst review video I've seen

It is. Countryman is a Compact SUV, and comparing (cause I own 2011 Countryman Cooper S) him to others "normal" SUV, he is as small as normal car. :) Countryman comes with bigger trunk, higher seating and ALL 4 wheel drive. Nowadays even JCW Clubmans may come with ALL4, but for 2011-2013 180 HP for Countryman Cooper S and even more HP for JCW, with ALL4 driving and SO much fun, it was a lot. :)

Ok this review is really well done. Very insightful and very genuine. Loved it. The JCW countryman is just a marketing gimmic
@Nigriff11 ай бұрын
It's not a gimmick, it has more power and sportier suspension. If you want a loud exhaust, buy a Honda and put a fart can on it
