Nice thing about being relatively new to Sant Andreu JB...is I get to go back in time enjoying all the past vids for the first time. Staggering how talented and how pleasant and resonant is Andrea's voice when the song really fits her. Her performance is always to perfection. I think I like the Sant Andreu Band better alone. Good to do these but for my personal taste the symphony is a bit stiff. Sant Andreu is fluid, has a terrific color to their music and an infectious joy in their performances. As a friend of mine used to say, "smiles by the mile."

Si Richard Rodgers pouvait entendre ce qu'on a fait de sa chanson vedette de l'histoire de la famille Von Trapp, il serait sûrement très surpris. J'adore le Sant Andreu jazz band et Joan Chamorro, mais je doute que cet arrangement alambiqué ajoute beaucoup à sa gloire. Cette rencontre avec un orchestre symphonique, au demeurant très bon, n'est pas à mon humble avis une réussite.
