Did Malaysia get the XY trim? This version of the GTI looks like they've tried to combine the XY and GTI trims to offer the best of both - for example, the UK XY gets the panoramic roof and arm rest but the GTI doesn't, and front sensors and Park Assist are options for the XY.

Hi Alex, how heavy are is the door? Let's say you're parked on a hill, how hard is it to open the door and does it stick open on uphill or does the heavy door make it very hard for it to stay open on an uphill?

I don't think it's fair to compare two cars from different segments. One's a B-segment hatchback and the other is a mid-size crossover SUV. These two cars will appeal to different sets of people.
