Awesome and detailed review. Just bought a diesel 1.6ltr Blue HDI Allure 2016 model with only 43K miles on the clock, gorgeous little car, beautiful orange and chrome and so efficient. Paid only £4,500 and collected it from Manchester to London where I live. Planning to keep it for at least 4 years until 2028. No road tax is a blessing.

I really love the redesigned rear light cluster on this facelift model. It’s a piece of art. The way the chrome line comes from the steel of the boot, and divides the light in to two, then goes over into the line of the bumper on the side. The three LED lights that serve as parking lights (very cool and robust). The subtle brake light stripe that goes parallel to the chrome line is really the cherry on top. Compare this to pre-facelift and that one looks like a mess imo.

I think he’s done his homework on this one. Getting a 1.6HDI Allure 2017 model tomorrow. Only 43K on the clock. No tax, lower insurance than my old RAV4 and half the monthly fuel costs! What’s not to like! Can’t wait to get it and looking forward to saving loads of money. Had a 1.6HDI 207 before the RAV and loved it. Well nippy and cheap to run. Great little cars and enjoyable to drive.

Picking up a 2016 gt-line 3 door 110 soon, gonna stage one map the car plus k&n panel filter. 145 bhp and 200 ibft of torque. Should do 0-60 in under 8 seconds and max out at 130 mph.

The Reason for HDI not having a full size spare wheel is because it might be too heavy for some end users to lift and carry out the ADBLUE refills.

In 2018 or ‘19 they repositioned the filling opening of AdBlue to where the fuel cap also is, so that you don’t have to get in the boot to fill it every so often. That’s why those 208 models have a slightly bigger fuel tank cap altogether when you see them on the streets. Good thing they changed that.
