Hi Kev (stig), ive just replaced the the flywheel and clutch on my citroen xsara picasso 1.6hdi, it wad probably the worst clutch job ive ever done and hopefully the last one i do🤞, I'm getting too old for it👴. Keep up the great work Kev and take care🚘🔧👍🏼

Great work, the car is needlessly over engineered though. I counted at least 8 bolts holding the battery box.

Excellent work.👏 Help, I have a question... There is an electric plug next to the rear engine mount, is this the same for a 2014 3008 Allure 1.6 Hdi semi-automatic? I did a clutch change and now the engine cranks over, but the car won't start! I can't recall undoing or reinserting a plug near the rear engine hanger! Your help and advice would be much appreciated. 🤫🤞

What is the part number of central slave cylinder? Is it FTE 1200124? It doesn’t have an O-Ring and you used what type of seal?

thank you for making this video. ive just done my clutch/DMF. the last time i did a clutch was over ten years ago. this video was able to tell me what bolts i had to remove and for where. it took two and a half days. i near cried , the subframe bolt near the gear box was well rust. took an hour to remove. only problem i have now, is car has its service light on and says - fault, engine repair needed. my mate plugged it in and it shows no codes. he tried to clear the message. does this happen to you?

Lucky you can get that bolt next to the DPF out, on some of these 1.6 HDI's there's not enough space to take the bolt all the way out!

Bonjour Kévin juste pour te dire à chaque vidéo que je regarde de tes travaux en suis à chaque Foix à en avoir pleins mes yeux car c'est juste grandiose le taf que tu fait et en connaissance de cause tu doit quand même en chier sur certaines voitures en tout les cas encore bravo et surtout pleins de courage pour la suite de tes aventures merci. Sinon à tout hasard à tu des belles remises sur les embrayages complet ??? Si oui je possède une Audi A3 TDI 130cv Quattro 8L de novembre 2001 j'arrive en fin de vie de mon embrayage c'est pour cela car en regardant sur certains sites je trouve que les prix sont beaucoup trop élever surtout des que je demande le kit complet avec le volant moteur, merci à toi par avance si tu pourrez me donnez un prix, bien entendu si tu a des belles remise merci et a bientôt.

That one bolt for the battery tray coming from the inside of the arch, it’s only purpose is to piss the mechanic off😄. Like why would they do that

Honestly 3 bolts 10mm would have been enough. But 5 x 13mm bolts with a torx bolt and one in the wheel arch. Now that is some French garlic bread 🧄 🥖

@@WMCS Well everyone of them I’ve done, it has one bolt less going back. Straight in the bin. 😄 no need for it. It and the “bastard bolt” at the side of the dpf makes for some fun.
