Awesome camera work! Thanks for the effort! I’ll be doing this soon, it’s nice to know what you’re getting into. Looks helpful to remove the front end but not necessarily? Im surprised you didn’t replace the main seal while you were in there

Hi Kevin, great video! I've got a few questions, if you don't mind. 1. You applied a sealant on the slave cylinder. If I am not mistaken, Ford originally use an O-ring there, but it was known to cause leaking issues. So, a sealant was used instead. Is this correct? 2. We do not have that brand of sealant here, do you know of another brand / model sealant that would be comparable in the USA? Morotcraft sells a small tube called "Gasket Maker TA-16". 3. Would Motorcraft long life grease work in place of the red grease you added to the housing? Motorcraft part XG-1-E1 4. What do you think about using Sach's spline grease on the input shaft? 5. Lastly, does removing / reinstalling the subframe assembly have any negative impacts? Thank you!

Hello! Why everything looks more dificult with french cars? (308). I own a 2005 ford mondeo 2.2 TDCI and a 2014 RENAULT laguna 2.0 dci 175. There is 9 years and 200 000 kms between the old mondeo and the younger laguna, but it's just numbers! I'm more confident with the mondeo, i know that the laguna will not goes so far, not the same quality... But i like both of them anyway! Good job and great video. See you next week🎉

if that was my drive i would have had it swept for you all those loose bricks do not help but under that pressure you did a great job ,then onto my favourite car "at the moment "and then with the rover 1800 engine and it looks as thought it needs some water in my wife's favourite car but the clutch hydraulics are a pain but you did it and then the dreaded mini and a Vauxhall what more can i say ,thanks for the video

Fantastic video, did my 407 and a couple of moments in this video really helped figure some things out on removal. One issue i'm left with is the drivers side inner drive shaft support bearing must have got damaged as making noise now. It took a lot of force to get it out of the lower engine mount and similar energy to get it back in so I probably damaged the outer bearing by accident. I see you tightening the U shaped retainer clip on that bearing, but how is this bearing meant to be pressed back into the engine mount when already on the drive shaft, there just seems to be no access to hit the inner bearing race or room for any sort of tool to press it either? Thanks.

Hello mr WILLIAMS, another great video! Wow it's a lot of work with the mini cooper! But it was sunny so it's a good thing for you i suppose? Thanks a lot for the sharing, like i say every time, i could replace my clutch on my 2005 FORD mondeo 2,2 tdci with the videos you did, it was very helpfull and inspiring for me. I'm from FRANCE , but i really appreciate the weekly travel from England! Have a nice day. Merci pour cette vidéo et ce partage de connaissances, c'est toujours un plaisir de vous voir à l'oeuvre! bonne journée.
