This was probably the game of the decade. Kerry in the first half rolled back the years and gooch was his brilliant best. The second half was McCauley, Brogan and Connolly at their very best, Dean Rock coming on and showing a glimpse of what was to come and Mcmanamon again coming on to steal the show. Great days. Can’t wait to see more of them when this bloody virus is gone

Dublin got lucky at the end tho with the goal.

@@Dellen-Roger The difference was seven points not three. Dublin are lucky for six years in a row now!!! It will be a long time before some other team does that.

Maybe I was one of them Joe! Not such a good result for me, obviously, but always a good day between these two teams at Croker Park.

@@waltonneil1 I was in the middle tier of the hogan stand close to the 40 line! it was good craic but I had to celebrate a bit more quietly towards the end of the match! it was an amazing game! Well done on the big win last Sunday! good to see Kerry back after giving the rest of us a break! 😂

@@04Redeemed I was in the middle Hogan too! Though I can't remember exactly how far from the middle. My most abiding memory of Croke Park was the first final I was able to get a ticket to in 2011. Though again, the result wasn't what I wished for, the atmosphere was electric and when the Dubs got over the line it seemed like the whole city exploded! I went with my Dublin friends to Clery's and the Windjammer (which is always full of lunatics anyway!) afterwards and it was some craic: don't remember much after that...

Brolly was right there was cynical fouling to slow the game. Every time Kerry foul they push & pull afterwards with the sole intention of preventing Dublin taking the free. Having said that a great game with two teams going for it with everything they had. Never get tired of looking at it.

There were plenty of cynical moments from Dublin too, but nonetheless an epic game which Dublin deserved to win.
