Can you use just a 1/2 inch drive wrench instead of the oil wrench socket?

I’m pretty sane concept but it has a plastic housing and it’s very hard to get loose without the cup tool double check yours

Is there an oil filter aside from the cartridge? I mean the metal oil filter?

Can anyone get the part number for the panel he removed? The plastic piece that has two 10mm bolts covering the oil filter assembly?
