I have 2013 LE V6... Over 100K now, there are no problems at all beside regular maintenance... It is enjoyable to drive from FL to NY and back (8 times now) and I still love it... I will drive it till it dies...

I have watched multiple reviews on this year of Venza, THANK YOU for keeping this clear, concise and informative and not rambling on about stupid things like others do. A+

A bit pricey, but my parents have a 2009 Venza. It actually shocked me when they brought it home, its a nice car for what its trying to do. Even if it is basically a down played RX350.

I could not agree more. I just discovered Steve and subscribed to the channel. Thank you for spending more review time in the backseat, unlike many other "reviewers." Cheers!

What would you suggest for a 7 or 8 passenger SUV? Safety and comfort are main priorities. Power and style are second respectively.

No dedicated button for it. So you have to go through a 3 step procedure and sometimes it doesn't work, lights don't stay on and when you open it the car shuts off.

Just got the 2010 V6 after sold my beloved 2012 Audi A4 1.8T S line.. Let me tell you this.. As far as I only had German cars before, this Toyota just made me re think the German theory. Its 270BHP, 7.7 sec to 100kkm/h. Practical, huge and its fun to drive. Fuel consumption is not so good, but its comfortable, and fells safe besides it looks very good. So far happy

I have a 09 loaded venza. Steve is right, the steering feel isn't that good, it is kind of sloppy and dull but not as bad as a hyundai or kia product. The ride is smooth with the 20 inch wheels but tends to follow the grooves in the pavement. The v6 is silky smooth and the transmission is the same. Its a smooth, relaxing extremely comfortable ride. Only down sides are the interior fit and finish. Huge gaps etc on the panels. All and all a great suv

I like the addition of the intro animation, although it could be a little more stylish, but I understand a good graphic design incomes at quite a cost

As a 2013 6 cyl awd owner, I find the acceleration to be fantastic. Much quicker than my previous car, the 2008 Highlander with the same engine. Also the steering does have some weight compared to the Highlander. Good in snow also.

I'm not aggressive ALL the time. But when it comes to cars or another subject I'm picky about I DO usually get pretty feisty.

I wish your Venza had wood grain inside, especially for a vehicle that befits a $40,000 car in top-level Limited AWD trim.

Speaking of Dodge Magnum, I miss that car, man. The Venza doesn't look anything like that car, in my humbled opinion. But I like the looks of it.

That's where the company's top luxury brands step in, like Cadillac in GM or Lexus in Toyota. Pricetag doesn't always equal luxury... It should equal quality, but not always luxury. Just like you can max a Ford Edge out to 40K, it's still not meant to be a luxury car. That's what the Lincoln MKX is for.

Okay then. Want to take a hint? Here it is: $40,000 for Limited AWD V6 as tested. Does that ring a bell? Oh and by the way, when you reply to a comment, there's a reply button under the comment on the left side. That way you won't have to use @Theo Morrow every time you reply back or anybody else on KZbin.

@Theo Morrow whoa hold your horses, there, buddy haha. No big deal. And no, a mid-size luxury crossover would be the Lexus RX 350. This might be a near-luxury entry, as I'm sure Toyota's goal isn't to cannibalize their Lexus sales. Even though it's in that price range, it's not necessarily a luxury car in the truest sense.

Steve, I don't know about you, but I wish America would bring back the "wagon" nomenclature, as I have grown weary of auto manufacturers finding new ways to describe a utilitarian lengthened vehicle (SUV, XUV, crossover, microvan, etc...). If Toyota would re-make the Camry wagon (or if Honda made an Accord wagon), I'd quit writing this KZbin comment and run to my car dealers. Wagons (or "estates" overseas) have no real stigma attached to practicality.

@Theo Morrow, why are you so aggressive? Well let me just say that I'm using my phone so that's not really an option for me, so no big deal. I didn't reply to sound snarky, I was stating my thought on wood grain trim, especially in Toyota's, which isn't really luxurious by any means, but is luxury-look. You can pay 40K for a loaded LaCrosse, but it's not marketed as a true luxury vehicle... It's an aspirational luxury car, or near-luxury, the same way an Azera or an Avalon is.

Oh yeah? Well, I think carbon-fiber trim looks cheap and ugly compared to wood trim. Besides, carbon-fiber belongs in sports cars, not in SUVs, or crossovers, or station wagons, or even... whatever! Wood grain bests suits luxury sedans and crossovers. And the Venza IS a midsize luxury crossover, is it not?
@Bugattis11395
@Bugattis11395 11 жыл бұрын
@Theo Morrow, it would just end up being a picture of wood, which is even uglier and cheap.
