Hi, it was just great ! Lucky people who live in London and are able to go to The Globe as often as they wish ;-) I met a guy from France who had attended to "The Tempest" several times. I liked the Theatre itself a lot, very impressiv and all, all looks so original and "old style". All the actors have been very very good and amazing. Colin was really scary as Ariel !! Great make-up as well !! And Caliban, no words for it !!!! Prospero of course, his powerful presence was so astonishing....

This has been one of the best things I have ever seen on stage! Period! I was in the yard, standing but it was fxxxxxx worth it! Even if that's the only ticket you can get, just GO FOR IT! You won't regret it! I think it's on till mid august!

Wow, I was there...for a midnight showing. Now I love Shakespeare but I must confess that watching this dance at 3 in the morning rather drained my enthusiasm for it. It's such as shame because it was very well done too.

Although I have always been lucky enough to have clear skies when ever I have been to the globe I think they may handout (or you can by for fairly cheap) plastic mac type ponchos to wear over your clothes.. In my opinion its always best to bring a coat to the globe! Hope this is of some help to you P.S. Its well worth going to see the Tempest one of the best shows ive seen at the Globe for some time

The staff mebers are kind of strict, my 4 yrs old boy wasn't allowed to rest for a minute on the stairs in the first half, but at the end he did, and they accepted it. I could write much more....

Maybe because the rhythm is not really an easy one... seems to be an 10/8 , phrased as "ta ke ti, ta ke ti, ta ke ti na" , which is not so easy to clapp ;-)

If you can still find a ticket, do not miss this treat. It sets aside modern obsessions with the play's colonial questions and instead presents a human and very funny tale of love and forgiveness. Roger Allam is beyond brilliant. He makes Shakespeare's language seem so obvious, so easy and so hilarious. The two lovers really are like goofy, infatuated teenagers. Colin Morgan is childlike as Ariel, James Garnon a wild Caliban. And if you don't laugh out loud there is something wrong with you.
