I know that Steve Lawson is no longer a pastor of his church and he can fall into sin, so I too can fall easily into sin. This is very encouraging, I cut off watching movies and listening to songs that are not hymns I decided to find comfort in God’s word the bible. I've learned more than when I was distracted by the entertainments of this world. It was hard in the beginning of six months but God granted me the desire to read His word, it changed my thinking and cultivated a lot of knowledge and wisdom in my heart. David says to Sovereign Lord in psalms 119:10 I have hidden your word in my heart so that I might not sin against you. I am not perfect because I am still in the flesh but Jesus Christ is continuing the good work He began in me through the process of sanctification in my life. I can't say it's fun and enjoyable 😁 because it's hard to walk in spirit in this body of flesh but Christ strengthens me every minute and the Holy spirit rests upon me. The hope that we all have is that before Christ comes for His flock, we might try and help our families to turn to Christ for salvation. It's hard to shake off dust on a family member and not witness to them anymore. It's good to have a pure mind that produces fruit that is required from us by Our Heavenly Father. The chaos in the world right now is being supported and portrayed in movies and music nowadays the violence, swearing, using His name in vain homosexuality, fornication, sorcery, murder, debauchery, self righteousness and many more are being glorified in this movies and consumers are really taking them in and putting them to practice. It's brought chaos in the world I'd suggest we be godly and take matters of God's kingdom with seriousness because we're the salt of the world and salt is useless if it loses its taste Matthew 5:13

This Bible lesson from Dr. Steve Lawson was life changing for me and my husband. I have listened to this message twice on Roku, the KZbin channel. I will listen to it again. I am forever grateful and thankful to Pastor, Dr. Lawson for his accurate teaching and love for all of us believers in Christ. My husband and I plan on listening to all of Dr. Lawson's Bible lessons. He is a gift from God and his love for the Lord exudes from his very being. We are so happy we came to know Dr. Lawson. He is in our prayers because we need him and his gift for teaching the holy Scriptures. May the Lord continue to bless Dr. Lawson.

Dr. Lawson has been outted but truly his messages were still sound. Pray for him and in the mean time i will keep watching his sermons. They were what helped me in my conversion 3.7 years ago. To God be the glory for ALL and evermore.

We do not have all the details, facts or accurate information regarding Dr. Lawson's current status. I have not condemned Dr. Lawson at all. I am prying for his vindication. I am praying for the Lord to destroy all lies and accusation and to reveal the truth. My husband and I continue to listen to Dr. Lawson's messages and to purchase his books.

My all-time favorite scripture! So glad I came across this. This scripture (and others) is what influenced me to cut my cable subscription in 1997. Unfortunately, my husband had it reconnected in 2016. Then, I asked him if he would consider cutting it, and (after lots of prayer on my part) he finally did two months ago! Very loving husband. Cutting cable didn't stop me from sinning (we will fight sin until the day we die), but it definitly curtailed its depth and frequency! The beauty, and bonus, of practicing this discipline is that your emotions will line up with your mind. As you rule over your thoughts, your emotions will follow. Emotions are God-given, wonderful expressions- in their place. In. their. place. I don't think Pastor Lawson intends to be fatalistic, so I'll say this: A contrite heart He will in no wise cast out. The other beautiful thing that will happen if you put away the filth - cutting it off and out of your life - and turn to God for forgiveness, in His mercy He will cleanse your mind and restore your love and faith and devotion to Him. Yes, you will struggle against the constant intrusion and desire of the filth you let in, BUT you will be empowered to fight and blessed with victory over those tempting, wayward thoughts. A contrite heart He will in wise cast out.
