I just did this. You are definitely going to drop the nut in the door frame (I dropped 2 of mine). Now I am hunting for replacements while the lone survivor holds on for dear life.

I just installed a new passenger side mirror on my daughter's 2015 Honda Fit this morning. It went very well, except I dropped one of the nuts inside the door. One quick trip to the hardware store later, the job was done. Thanks for your video. (02/18/23)

Popping in to say thanks for this guide! I was able to change mine out in 1.5h, and that was including a trip to the hardware store to buy the nut that fell into the door, like everyone said would happen 😂😂😭

Need to replace the auto folding mirror of my Honda fit 2016, when going to order the mirror, there seems 2 parts showing up in the system, one is the mirror unit and other is mirror unit with comfort pack ?. which one should be ordered ?. I believe comfort pack is the switches on the driver side door to fold and adjust the mirror, please guide.

I know it’s an old video but any tips for removing the nuts if they’re stuck? I tried two different but drivers and don’t want to strip them, but they’re not budging. Really don’t want to pay someone at a shop to do it when it’s so easy to replace myself.
