2014 - 2020 Nissan Rogue Front Door Speaker Install

Watch a full tutorial as a 2017 Nissan Rogue will have a JBL coaxial speaker set installed in the front doors. We will be installing the JBL 6.5" coaxial speaker in the factory location for better sound quality and performance.
Our Rogue has a factory component set with a separate mid-bass in the door and tweeter in the upper door panel, however, in this install, we will be simply installing a coaxial speaker.
Note: Our Rogue is equipped with the OEM factory Bose audio system. The Bose channel powers both the door speaker and the tweeter (on the same channel). OEM Door speaker is 2.2 ohms, and tweeter is .5 ohms. If you have Bose and keeping the factory amplifier, be sure to install a 2 ohm component or coaxial set to be compatible with the factory amp.
This video applies to Nissan Rogue models for years 2014, 2015, 2016, 2017, 2018, 2019, and 2020. This video also includes door panel and speaker removal, complete installation, wiring, and testing.

I know this video is abit old but I recently financed a new 2020 rogue sport s and- lucky me…. Previous owner blew out the speakers.. do you possibly have a video showing how to change all speakers in the car to Bose speakers? 😅 I got my work cut out for me on this 31k car.. so any advice helps, thanks! 😊

Your recommended speaker for non Bose vehicles has 4 ohm resistance. That's wrong. factory is 2 ohm resistance! I was surprised by it being 2 ohm but I already knew this years ago about my Rogue.

I have a 2018.....non Bose. SV trim. Is that 2ohm or 4 ohm? I need to change the back and I have tweeter grills but don't know if there's anything under the.. so they pull off from top or so I have take dash off?

Tweeters come off from the top no need to pull whole dash. Stock speakers are 2ohm.
