Nice review, but he tested an MDX with the Advance Package, not the Technology Package. That's about an $8,000 price difference. He mistakenly referred to equipment like "adaptive cruise control," "active lake keep," and "front bucket ventilation," as coming with the Technology package. This equipment only comes with the much more expensive Advance Package. Great vehicle for the money.

Sadly the German, Italian, and British brands are considered to be the height of exclusively and success. I wish more shoppers would consider more at looking at American, Japanese, and Korean luxury cars and give them those images.

I don't understand why either. I wouldn't be caught dead driving a German car. Not because I think they are bad looking. On the contrary. They are amongst the best looking out there. But it says alot about the German brands when they spend so much time in the shop and they over engineer them so bad that even their own mechanics can't fix their own products due to the over engineering. Even going so far to eliminate something simple yet very important like the engine oil dipstick.

What is great about the MDX? its price, the x5 and m class are very over priced and barly have more tech and options then the Mdx. I think the MDX is much nicer looking

Just done a test drive of MDX at my local Acura dealership in NJ car is quite nice however it is shame that Acura decided not to offer some features for USA market for example for Canada and Europe markets Acura offering real wood inserts(ash tree from Spain looks fantastic), all around view camera system, heated steering, headlight washers And that is strange considering many competitors offering those options for free or at least for the money ? Fog lights is a dealer installed option for around $500 that is bad ...

1. The MDX does have a heated steering wheel (optional) 2. The MDX is not sold in Europe 3. It is real wood, and what are you talking about when you say "ash tree from Spain"?

Since this is a new shawd system from acura, you should do the comparation with previous MDX also with the front wheel drive verion mdx.. we donot want to heard you spec it... there ton of other review do a better job than this !!!

LaoK8710 Actually At an EPA-rated 18 mpg city, 27 highway, the all-wheel-drive version of the 2014 Acura MDX actually gets 6 mpg better than its predecessor on the highway. And at 20 mpg city, 28 highway, the MDX is better than virtually any other three-row utility vehicle in this class.
