Acredito que e essa dança seja um disfarce dos escravizados para que os seus "donos" não percebessem que eles estavam treinando lutar entre si. E como eram irmãos, não iriam se machucar. Poderiam machucar seus algozes num momento de fuga.

I love my African people. I watch this and am also reminded of the gymnastic and dancing skills a lot of black men have and use as outlets, I’m also reminded of how other black American dances break dancing and i see connection in how things translate over the years, it’s beautiful

It should look like a double rotor helicopter when two masters have trained with each other and manager to match their movements perfectly. The algo sucks... #cyberpunkcoltoure

Afro-Brazilian? AHAHAH. What does it even mean? It is Brazilian Carnival and Capoeira. In Brazil there are no Afro-Brazilians, but only Brazilians if you speak Portuguese without an accent. In Carnival and Capoeira there is much more than just African culture. Stop sticking America's Anglo-Saxon mentality labels onto other people's cultures, man.

Maybe if they start treating everyone as equal then we won't have too!! ... or simply maybe don't be so afro-sensitive.
@umaguriaveraz28342 жыл бұрын
Get out of here with the american ignorance. It's afro brazilian as we have some traditions who are native american brazilian (and other euro brazilian traditions as well). Has nothing to do with being sensitive, maybe you should start thinking about why the word "afro" triggers you so much.
