2014 Audi A1 1.4 TFSI Stronic Sportback in-depth tour | CarsofGlasgow

Hello hello,
In this video we do an in-depth review of a 2014 Audi A1 Sportback. This particular car has been loaded with options that vary from keyless entry and go, a panoramic sunroof, 2 tone coloured seats, xenon lights, sat nav and coloured air vents to name a few of the options.
The Audi A1 shares its platform with the Volkswagen Polo, Seat Ibiza and Skoda Fabia. It directly competes with BMW's Mini Cooper as a small posh hatchback. You can get it as a 3 door or as a 5 door (as this model is). A range of diesel and petrol engines as well as automatic or manual transmission. This car is the 1.4 TFSI (Petrol) fitted with the automatic gearbox.

Hi, looking to buy a second hand Audi A1 1.4TFSI ambition with around 46000 miles on the clock. When does the clutch usually go with these cars? Also, the car comes with the Audi freeway plan (has around 9months left on the plan or 15000 miles) . Do you think it is worth extending the freeway plan, or simply sticking with the simple service and maintenance plans? Finally, how costly is the car to maintain with regards to wear and tear parts like break pads and, well, the clutch?...

I believe the standard transmission is the manual and the S-tronic are optional. Yeah I have heard horror stories on the S-tronics, however that is usually about 100k miles. Yeah I would take the extension purely for the piece of mind :) It relatively cheap to maintain, (being based off the Skoda Fabia & VW Polo). Brakes and tyres are not too bad :)
