2014 Chevy Malibu cabin air filter(is it dirty?)

In this video I’m just trying to find out if I can reuse this cabin air filter hilariously
Located behind the glove box on the passenger side
Need to remove a black plastic cover to expose the filter

I have a Chevy Malibu 2010, 2.4l and I didn't find any cabin air filter in the car cabin. I found only a notation/doc on the youtube that it must cut on the plastic exactly in the plastic filter area and after make a door, use screws, etc. And, finally, install a cabin polen filter. Strange for a Chevy company. If you have any idea please write exactly this solution on the this youtube link comments.
