2014 Chevy SS - Wrapping Door Handles

In this video I get rid of the last chrome parts on the outside of the car.
I looked into several options including painting the handles, wrapping them, and replacing them with non chrome Caprice PPV handles.
Replacing/painting the handles was going to be several hundreds of dollars - so I decided to wrap them in 3M vinyl.
To wrap the handles - all you have to do is clean the handles off - and get started.
Cut the vinyl to the length that you need - place it on the handle - and use you finger name to push in the edges where you are going to cut.
Use a sharp blade and cut the vinyl out - then remove the excess.
Cut the chrome button - and now you are done.

Car looks great. I previously used plasti dipped on my old car but am now going to be using vinyl wrap for the emblems, side mirrors, etc. Garage looks great btw and need to make mine look better lol

I used vinyl on the emblems and door handles - my rear spoiler is dipped. Not the best job on the spoiler - but its better then nothing.

That is something I might be considering in the future - I do have a sunroof - so that would make the install more complicated.

Great I have a Kia Optima with those damn half chrome half paint door handles and I was looking to see if anyone had thought about wrapping just the chrome. I’m just lazy so I’m going to get someone to wrap my hood and roof and tell them to chrome delete everything including the handles. Thanks for the video

Mate...With the low Aussie Dollar you could order a few handles in white, black, red, blue, orange, bronze, green, silver from Australia Fed Ex them to USA for SFA. The Chevy badge?????

Yes, the button is still chrome. But there is no comparison with painting the handles vs wrapping them.

The button stays as is. No good way to cover that unless you never use it.
