TacticalGent no bud, you'll have a smoke screen basically. I had an Audi A5 2.0 TDI and it was stage 2 and was smoking like hell when floored and sounded like a tractor. So I wouldn't recommend this to your diesel beemer.

TacticalGent yeah most probably because the things you would remove are the things stopping the black smoke if you understand what I'm saying. The stuff you need to remove for a bit of sound are the stuff that stops your beemer from smoking. But if you really want to do it and maybe even get more information, I would recommend you take it to a tuner and ask them what they would suggest brother

would have to be going pretty hard to oversteer cause they have an open diff so wouldnt snap out as fast

Actually even my 116i tends to oversteer fairly easily as turbo boost builds up. But it is certainly not capable of drifting unless driving in snow.

Low it sounds pretty tractors buy higher up in the revs it’s rather nice compared to the silence that you get as stock. Honestly they’re a fun little car. I wasn’t going to get a nasty fwd car for my first so I got a 116i instead. Great decision I must say.
