I am pleased you are not marketing the car. That is not the role of a good car reviewer. A good car reviewer must be completely unbiased and I believe you are. Klar ist er keine rakete. Aber da ich ihn nur für die stadt und n bisschen landstraße zur Arbeit brauche reicht das vollkommen. Für die Autobahn nehm ich den 5 Zylinder smax von meinem Dad mit 220 PS. Geht wie hölle das Teil :D

I also have Fiesta with this engine in Titanium spec and I love it. This review is perfect if somebody wants to buy Fiesta with this engine - it sums up all the elements very well. I actually like the audio in the car + the fact that you can play music from your mobile connected via BT. The black piano thing - there is a liquid/foam you can put on it and it does not catch the fingerprints at all - I have done that and it looks clean all the time. Great review!

Ran one of these as a learner car for 27000miles/7 months and was totally unreliable...off the road 4 days in total...pcv valve failed 4 times. Would not buy one again!! Now have a Corsa! Thanks for the review though....a very good useful review.

My sister has this car and I really like the transmission and throttle response for such small engine. You easily can find the sweet spot to accelerate fast.

The only downside is that you need to jank it hard in reverse otherwise it makes a bad grind noise. Or they say to put it in third gear first and than in reverse so that the gears are better aligned.

+oep308 Hi it's a great car. Fast nice quality and great handling. the only downside in my opinium is the 5 speed gearbox, it should be a six because of the short first 3 gears. But overall great car good value for it's money :) and great engine. take it for a test drive and you will be convinced!

Excellent review, i just got a 2016 S Black edition. The 140ps remap makes a BIG impact... hanging on to 3rd gear on a clear open road...

Great review. I got one last week. Sony radio is not a problem, very nice if you take the trouble to master it. Not that difficult, I don't like your interior, tacky. Apart from that, nice car, nice colour..

Really love that you reviewed the European model. Also, a really great review. I've got to disagree on one point though: keyless entry. This is just a matter of opinion, but I really love being able to just unlock the car, get in the seat and start it up all without picking up the keys. I hope you are as satisfied with your titanium trim as I am with mine!

Hi mate fantastic review mate, the real deal, I just bought a 1.25cc Zetec, 9800 miles, same blue colour as yours, 65 plate 2016 and it cost me £7695 car is spotless not one mark also from specialist ford seller in U.K. Do you think it was a good deal, things that would of been pay extra extras are dab radio and it did not include a spare wheel it had a pump and tire puncher repair fluid many thanks.

Thank you! I'm currently getting 5.9L/100km. There is no noticeable roll in the corners. It is very agile and even does a little lift-off oversteer in the corners. You feel how the car pivotes around you. One of the best chassis' I've ever driven. The ride is very very good too, unlike the ST. The perfect mixture of sporty and comfy. The Fiesta overall has the best chassis in its class for sure.

Love the interior. Don't think the two-tone interior trim is available in the UK. My Titanium X has got everything on the options list apart from dress-up kit, it's got the full leather etc. but not the two-tone...bummer.

How is the turbo lag in this car? Which car is better VW Polo 1.2 TSI with 105 Hp or the Fiesta 1.0 ecoboost with 123 HP, i mean just in terms of how powerful it feels and how fast it gets to 100 kmph,? I live in Asia and I have driven Ecoboost engine inside Ford Ecosport and its super sluggish below 1800 rpm, and the gearing is too long to my liking as well, is that the same case with Fiesta as well? How is the real world mileage when light footed an when heavy footed?

Daniels30 I have driven polo tsi with dsg and I felt it as fast as fiesta ecooboost because of that damn awesome DSG,in gear acceleration were better than Ford as well, And Ford has fair amount of disappointing turbo lag below 1800 rpm,vw too has lag but below 1500 rpm,so Ford will struggle more in city traffic as well,Ford lied that turbo kicks in @1400 rpm,unlike vw where turbo is at full boost by 1500 rpm itself

jandj Godwin Well. there is a small turbo lag under around 1700rpms. Light footed I got it to around 5.5l/100km. Heavy footed driving you should get around 6.5. 0-100 for the powershift is slightly faster, and you dont feel the lag as much, around 8.2 seconds. 0-100 for the manual is probably a bit slower. Around 9 seconds maybe.

CarGuyGermany In country like India where traffic is so dense the slightest hint of turbo lag is enough to make our calf muscle take huge pains and according to Fords specs sheet it ssaid 170 NM @1400 rpm but in reality 170 NM kicks in only @ 1800 rpm, thats really annoying in stop and go traffic conditions, since the engine displacement is small the car dosent pull much as well below turbo zone The Polo 1.2 TSi is a highly under rated engine,its actually the better engine but i hate how VW drives and its interior which feeels too classy to my liking In a straight line Fiesta felt very powerful but while doing speed overtakes etc above 100 kmph the downshift is quiet aweful with powershift, DSG is too good to be compared with powershift

You cant just base it off of one guys experience. Did he go along with proper maintenance schedule? I know a couple of people that have owned fiestas with ecoboost (including myself) that didnt have any major problems whatsoever. Following maintenance schedule is important! I have heard that the older fiestas have had issues, but has since then been fixed with the newer fiestas

The Aston Martin front, is really easy to explain. Ford hired the designer, who had kuck, designing the Aston Martins. So it is a Copy paste from the Aston.

ein hinweis, wenn du bei jedem einsteigen das armaturenbrett wischt, schürft das bei jedem mal ein wenig der oberfläche ab, weil der staub dann wie schleifpapier wirkt und dann sieht das armaturenbrett schon bald abegriffen und alt aus. besser ist ein staubwedel, so wie für computerbildschirme, dass entfernt den staub schonend und wenn es dann noch fingerabdrücke gibt, kann man die mit einem mikrofasertuch entfernen.

If you want more space and practicality I would go for the focus as I own one myself, but with the econetic engine it is very slow and doesn't have much power. If you want more speed go for fiesta as it is lighter. I think the fiesta looks nicer than the focus too!

Why no mention of the fact that it has no spare wheel . If you've ever broken down on a motorway while on holiday with a ferry to catch and 200 mls to drive , you'll be glad of a spare wheel . This so called space saver tyre is useless if you have over a 100 miles to your destination . I just don't understand why motorists don't create a bigger stink about this and insist the manufacturers reinstate the spare wheel .

Michael Miller Look, I'm not sure if what you said was the history and situation in the USA. Where I live, airbags aren't mandatory because people don't wear seatbelts. They exist to reduce the risk of injury in the event of a crash.
