This 2014 Ford Focus SE 2.0L was making a hissing sound from under the dashboard. There was also a check engine light with code P0171 that showed up 1 day following the initial observation of the hissing sound. The most likely culprit when encountering this is a bad brake booster. This video shows steps along the way of doing a replacement of the brake booster and brake master cylinder for this vehicle.
