Video describing my 2014 Harley Davidson Road King that was for sale. It went to a good home, and the new owner seems to be real happy with it.

2014 Harley Davidson Road King in impeccable condition. This bike has a TON of upgrades and add-ons that make it the perfect cruiser for road trips. It’s currently sized for a tall rider, but stock parts come with it to revert back if necessary.

Super looking bike. I have a 2009 Road King Classic similar in color (Red Sunglo /Gold). I love how mine runs. I too have true dual Rinehart exhausts. Our bikes sound quite identical and I too am very meticulous in bike care. Hope you are able to get your asking price for your ride. If I didn't already own a fantastic Road King Classic, I'd buy yours for sure because I know how dependable mine has been. That's a terrific price! If you traded your bike into the Harley dealership, you wouldn't get that amount which is a doooooown-right shame but they would surely charge the new buyer a greater amount b/c of all the nice extras you've added to your bike. Thanks for the comment Houndsman One! Yeah this bike has been a great "First Harley" experience for me and I've loved owning it. I learned 2 things owning this bike: 1) I love HD bikes! 2) For the type of riding I'm doing, I need something a bit smaller and sportier. For example, my other bike is a Suzuki C50 Boulevard and I love it too. My next HD is going to be something in that class. I did end up selling the Road King last week to a guy that's real happy with it. He's very knowledgeable on Harleys and is really enjoying the bike. We settled on a fair price and so it was really a win-win. I wasn't going to sell my first HD to just any old Schmuckatelly, and this guy fit the bill. So, happy all the way around. As far as the pets go, we got a bunch of them 🤣 I'm surprised our pet rabbit didn't make an appearance hopping around the backyard! Money is in hand and so it's time to do some first car shopping now (and maybe a little window shopping for my next Harley Davidson 😎)

Do a search on "Harley Davidson Project Rushmore" to get a good understand of the major redesign that the 2014-2018 bikes went through. There were major redesigns in features (like the one-handed opening feature of the Road King saddlebags) as well as power train improvements. Other then that, just give it the same once over you'd give any bike--how does it start, run, and ride. Check manufacture dates on tires. Bikes sit a lot, so tread wear isn't really a factor on tires but the manufacture date is. Do a search on how to read the "DOT Code on a tire". Make sure the battery is 2 years old or less (or adjust your offer accordingly). If the tires were recently changed, ask if the bearings were as well (they should be replaced at the same time as the tires). Check the oil, make sure it looks like oil--no white stuff or anything else funky. Check handlebar ends and foot peg ends for scuffs indicating it's been dropped. Stuff like that. Good luck!
