Just a quick overview of the small mods i have done to my FB6 Civic Si.

Up your oil weight. The tick in the motor will quiet down. I switch to 5w30 full synthetic. It helps.

Joey Q i used sylvania zevo leds. 7443 for tail/break light and T10 for the inner tail lights. i cant remember what size the reverse lights were

Like your car man. I currently have a 2012 civic si. Just bought truhart streetplus coilovers, and I'm impressed. It comes with front camber plates, and height drop up to 3.5". About to install rear lower control arms, to compensate for the -3 degrees rear camber due to drop. Keep uploading man. :)

the spoiler in my opinion is a little much. I think it would look better with the carbon fiber OEM style. If I could find one for the coupe I would put it on. Also another opinion, I wouldn't focus too hard on the cosmetics I would put some money into performance. it makes the car a lot more fun to drive.

No problem man I hate when people bash on other people's rides. if their not spending the cash on it shut the hell up. I have a 2014 civic si coupe with a kraftwerks supercharger making 350whp. I would recommend going coilovers over lowering springs for a more aggressive look mainly for the reason that the stock suspension will crap out on you after awhile. I went h&r lowering springs and my car rides like crap because the stock suspension is failing. But yeah man keep us updated with what you decide to go with. I would love to see the finished product. if you have any questions about anything I can help you out and I know people that have way more knowledge than I do that would help you out as well as far as building tuning and accessories to make her your own. One last piece of advice is to mod the car the way you want to not what the "crowd" says you should do. You will end up hating it and buying the parts and stuff you want in the long run. ZEMOS GATE thanks. I have done more stuff to it so i will post another video. The back strip is painted with glossy automotive paint. Its a couple screws and it pops out.

How did you prep the chrome? Did you use a clear coat too? Thanks so much for your help? I have a black exl civic and I added a spoiler. It looks good, but not as good as yours.

ZEMOS GATE thanks for the complements. I cleaned the chrome with rubbing alcohol and used a flat black primer so the paint sticks. You can use clear if you would like but the paint i used hardened pretty good.

O the intake was a gift from a family member (im lucky) and i got all of the led bulbs from my local autozone. They are the sylvania zevo leds

Dope video. Question tho, how did you deal with the hole in the trunk? That’s the only thing stopping me from getting a new spoiler.

So what i did is use the additional holes from the stock spoiler as extra support for the new one. Then i used rubber body plugs (thats what O'Reilly called them) to plug the 3rd brake light hole.

How did you fix the spoiler issues, such as flexing on highway speeds?

T k i used some insulating foam that is usually for windows. It can be a messy job but it expands enough to make the center piece more rigid. Its not 100% fixed but the shaking is barely noticable now

518SkateTeam when you remove the trunk lid liner, there are 4 bolts on the inside holding it in. i think they are 7mm.

Very similar in driving, more torque down low so its easier to drive around town.

How did you keep the spoiler from flexing or movung around when you drive?

levi lamarseillaise it still flexes but very very little. I put 3m tape on both bases and 4 bolts on each side (drilled 2 and used stock holes too). I also put dynamat on the center piece where it connects to the bases on each side...i hope this helps

Tcho2100 the led bulbs are from o'reilly auto parts. they are Sylvania red leds 7443 and 195 for the smaller bulbs
