I couldn't care less how much people hate on minivans. Our Odyssey is the perfect family vehicle. Long wheelbase means great ride. Honda tunes all their car's suspensions to be good handling vehicles (Toyota Sienna has a beam, rear axle everybody / Honda's is multilink / independent). The powertrain is totally acceptable. The shift stalk has a button on the side to lock out overdrive. When you're ready to really go, give it a push and mash the throttle. Always pony up for the electric sliding doors, once you drive a vehicle with them, you'll never go back. Easy ingress and egress in garages AND when the sun's out and it's HOT inside your ride, you can open both as you walk up to the van and all the hot air either blows out or rises out - can't be beat. When there is actually snow on the road and freezing temperatures, I put chains on the front wheels and I've stayed out of trouble on some of the steep roads in Mammoth that 4x4's without chains have ended up in the parked cars on the side of the road. Also, yeah, I love my M3's rear wheel drive, BUT for urban driving (making right turns on red after stop), front wheel drive rules........!

ashman0071 We have a 2008 odyssey with over 143,000 miles on it. Not pre owned, we got it in April of 2008. It is a very reliable car, but sometimes the suspension creaks

0-60 happens in around 7.4 seconds.... Pretty ballsy for something with 3 rows and enough room to put a two bedroom apartment in.

Yeah, the vacuum is pretty cool. It actually reminded me of a feature an old minivan my family owned. We had a 1995 Chevy Lumina APV with the level ride package. It was a feature that included a compressor in the back like where the vacuum is that could be used to pump up tires, floats, balls and so on. It also was used to level out the ride by using air shocks on the rear wheels and when you had a heavy load in the back it would kick in level out the van.

Jonathan Washington My Lincoln had that until it went poo poo and cheap me decided shocks and coilovers would be "better." It's a bumpier ride but I saved about $1400.

Maheen Azad AWD could be a non-issue for some people. If you don't need it then it don't make no nevermind to them. Honda's generally have much better high-end materials and build quality interiors than Toyota. I own Hondas and in my friends Toyotas I thought I was in a Chevy from the 80s. Gaps in the plastics and pillars and everything felt cheap.

I think I was too hard on her on flt. Some of the reasons she gave as to why trucks behave the way they do, where,...off. But she is very likeable, friendly and full of energy. Good work on the prensentation of this vehicle.

Honda should also have a standard air compressor with an air hose to fill up the flat spare tire and underinflated tire so I don't have to be stranded with a flat spare tire. There was a time when my tire was flat, my spare tire was also flat, and the TPMS doesn't detect the air pressure on the spare tire, because it's not in motion all the time.

I prefer Odyssey's looks over Sienna, but, why on Earth can't Honda figure out how to not have the door lines on the body panels! I prefer it to be part of the windows like the Sienna. Ugly with the lines! Meh, I'll stick to SUVs. Oh and, AWD!!

Honestly, I think the vacuum is a waste. There's many place around in Virginia that have free vacuums. Also I would rather take the Sienna than a Odyssey. The main reason is why is the All wheel drive and better cost.

I love the Honda Odyssey, I just don't understand why Honda had to mess up the taillights. They were perfect before with the clear sections towards the top and separated by a chrome section. Now they flipped it and it just doesn't look as good in my opinion.

I have never been a fan if minivans, but i do like crossovers, like a van inside and like a suv on the outside. The idea of the 2 screens and the thing I between is stupid. There is no reason for all that. If they were smart they would have put in a big 12inch ipad screen and just switch from nav to climate. Weird there is no center council, kind of looks like a truck with bench seating. I do like the vacume, that's a good idea.

I had a 2005--+excellent steering, road feel. I hate my 2011"lightning"--- floats and bounces, and steering is way too light--- honda has truly lost it's way!

This is my first mini van, I got it brand new back last October, it's not a pleasant ride in winter at all, on the rough road feels like no suspension at all, horrible, I rely on the reviews from all, consumer report, tfl, Edmunds, none mention about rough/stiff ride in freezing weather. I have to trade it in next month for an ML350 Bluetec. It would be nice to know as auto reviewers should do proper test not just butter up to car companies and give a great review without testing all conditions, especial when we live in cold climate region. What a waste of my resources and time!

what's the use of vacuum cleaner when the garbage VCM technology causes all kind of problems? really, do Odyssey owners just go for oil change without actually measure if their cars are consuming oil? read honda VCM lawsuit, people. btw, powerful cordless vacuum is only $50 and you can use it inside the house. i don't get the excitement of purchasing $45K automobile with known engine issue, with or without the vacuum cleaner!
