I wouldn't dismiss the incarnon form of the Gammacor out of hand. The Gammacor Incarnon is one of the few projectile attacks that has a multiplicative interaction with "On Hit" crit chance/crit damage buffs like Frost's biting frost augment, Dagath's bonus crit damage on doomed targets, and all "Weak point critical chance" effects, allowing you to push it's crit capabilities far beyond what its stats would indicate. This interaction cause said buffs to be calculated using the weapons Final Crit chance/damage (Crit chance after all mods, flat buffs, etc.) instead of the standard behavior of calculating on the weapons base critical chance/damage

As for building the beam, I'd be interested in seeing how this weapon fares when built for Blast Corrosive, as the way beam weapons interact with multishot makes them able to generate extremely high damage blast procs. Blast would add a bit of needed AoE to the weapon to let it deal with crowds more effectively.

@@MesaCoast if you're looking for double Crit then the stahlta, prisma angstrun incarnon, epitaph, and acceltra are all also double Crit weapons which will vastly outperform the gammacor incarnon in terms of DPS The worthy comradery aura mod also triggers double Crit if you wanted to use it on a frame other than frost

@@theninjaguy2 there are unfortunately way way stronger weapons with double Crit we have access to, namely the stahlta which is one of the easiest weapons to damage cap with The gammacor incarnon is not only clunky and slow but lacks the strong base stats to really push it to the level of weapons like stahlta, epitaph or angstrum incarnon Moral of the story here is just because you can doesn't mean you should xD the gammacor is much better off as a beam status weapon in any of my testing Another thing about your comment too about running blast corrosive- that would deal some damage yes but it would struggle immensely with scaling to higher levels It's due to the fact that beam weapons have a base multishot of 2, which applies 2 status effects per tick, meaning you'll reach 10 stacks of blast faster yes, but you'll continue to add heat procs which scale the proc damage much much higher If you forced blast onto it via cyte o9 or lavos then it would be the best of both worlds, though I still think the pure heat variant would output more damage in the end

@@keppochuppu The problem with building heat is that this weapon has no chaining or AoE. You could use punchthrough I guess but that isn't helping your group killing. This doesn't kill single targets fast enough to be a good demolyst killer IMO and its inability to damage more than one enemy at a time severely holds the weapon back from excelling in actual missions. Damaging targets one at a time kills this weapon because of how the Beam Damage ramp up mechanic works. Damage ramp up is calculated separately for each enemy, so if you fully ramp up on one enemy then switch to another enemy, you instantly go back down to the 30% damage starting point on the new enemy, even if you didn't let go of the trigger. Your heat build would struggle at high levels even more than the blast build would because the weapon just won't be able to keep up with escalating enemy density. As for blast, it's not just about building blast stacks faster, but building higher damage ones. Beam weapons with multishot combine damage into a single instance rather than creating multiple hits, meaning that in addition to creating more blast procs, each of those blast procs is dealing significantly more damage than a non-beam weapon with identical stats would be generating. While heat procs can theoretically outdamage blast, in practice it takes too long to build up enough heat procs to do that. By the time your heat procs are out-damaging blast procs, the blast procs would have already nuked every enemy in the room.

I think Enervate does give a flat bonus, if you end up doing a build with the Kompressa with it, it'll scale to pretty insane tier 2 or 3 red crits even without any base critical chance mods :)

Frost can make excellent use of the incarnon form, but he's like the only one I have found. It's multiplicative with Biting Frost I think (last I looked at the wiki).

If you want to enjoy dante, put a minimum of 2 yellow shards in him, or better 3 for cast speed and dont forget his book buff, it is super devastating with roar and the birds. My dante can destroy 20 lvl 220 gokstad officers in around 5 seconds with an unmodded stug.
