Finally got around to the new 2014 Grand Cherokee. I bought my Grand Cherokee over X5, Q7, JX. My plan was to test Benz M, however after test drive I had to buy it. It's one of the few luxury rides that won't break your bank. It's all about your preference, but to me Grand Cherokee is one of the best luxury vehicles no one really talks about.

I have the 5.7L v8 hemi in my 2014 Jeep summit, and man let me tell you, with a cold air intake and a throttle commander, you’ll be surprised with its power 10/10 definitely something if you’re looking to have a srt jeep and or a track hawk

The old ones were a bit unrefined but they still did well plus they were easy to repair. The I6 motor was silky smooth and reliable.

This is beautiful. I have had 2 grand Cherokees, the last I just traded in on a 2014 mustang gt. I should have traded it in on one of these. I can't believe the detail that is put into this vehicle. Maybe I'll trade the stang in on one of these next year.

jeep in my opinion is doing great. you have to see the new model GC coming down to really appreciate the headlights. you should also see the cherokee that is going into production. i have seen the new cherokee on the road and it really has a good premium look to it.

I have a love/hate relationship with Jeeps. I had a 96 GC that had to get it's transmission replaced 3 times. It was a piece of shit. But, these new GC's look amazing inside and out. Jeep did a good job with the new model. It's like I've fallen in love all over again.

I went from a 2014 328i to a 2017 trailhawk (with the 5.7) and I am very pleased. I have more "bells and whistles" in the Grand Cherokee than I did in the Beamer.

Thanks for the great review Kyle! To my knowledge, lane departure warning is not available on the 2014 GC. Also, the rear USB ports are for charging only.

Usually every remote start system requires to lock the car twice and then hold down the remote start button to start the vehicle. Then when you get to your vehicle you unlock it then. He does lock the jeep before holding down the remote start button. I hope this helps

They are fine. People say crap all the time about the newer jeeps since the 05. They say that the WK will have problems under 35k miles but my parents have one at 35k with no problems what so ever. I recommend Jeep because they are cheaper than some cars and are reliable and nice.

Jeep Grand Cherokee is the only 4WD SUV equipped with " Low Range Gears " transfer case for the tough terrain. Compare to Mercedes-Benz M Class, BMW X5 which didn't have low range gear.

Awesome, three choices for me in GC models, The Summit which is this one, Overland, High Altitude. Maybe a limited depending on how it's put together. Laredo Grand Cherokee no thank you it's like a run of the mill rent a car. These vehicle are highly reliable the V6, or the V8 they will last hundreds of thousands of miles if taken care of. Unibody frame is a beast.

Indeed. The BMW X5 and the Mercedes-Benz ML-Class---with which this Grand Cherokee shares a platform---would be better comparisons. And both of them are priced significantly higher. I wouldn't even bother with the outgoing E70 X5, since the new "F15" model will debut at the end of this year.

I'm pretty much on the same boat as you in terms of Chrysler's quality. I'm not sure it'll take 10 or 15 years, but their quality has picked up over the last two or three years, ever since Fiat took over. I would say in less than ten years, maybe 5-7, that their quality will come up to the same standards as some other car manufacturers.

The largest screen interface in a car at this time is in the Tesla Model S. It features a 17" touch screen infotainment system. Which controls everything on the car. It's very responsive. Also great video Kyle. Loved it. Really like this newly refreshed Jeep.
