Same issue, no scanner tool so I just went out and started the car. Left mirror didn’t light up tapped it, restarted and it works. No BSM off indicator anymore. Thanks for the video

Banging my mirrors a few times fixed it for me as well. Just got it home from the body shop and the light started flashing on the highway.

Yes. Repaired poor connection in mirror. Had to take mirror apart to access it.

Have the same issue on cx7 it is not flashing just still orange rvm sign on dashboard, supose fix will be similar, that powered mirrors are probably reason of loose connections.
