I love my 850 Touring, but if I were looking to buy one now, I'd recommend people buy this value packed model with the 570 and save a few thousand. The AWD system is actually very good. I have done full-throttle starts on ice, you can't even detect it kicking in. I have done partial traction situations, high traction, I've done it all. So don't think you need to have mechanical diff locks that you have to engage or disengage to get traction. These are comfortable enough to ride on trails all day without waring you out, unlike other ATVs. Get the EPS if you can afford it.

Nice video/review. I own a 2015 Sportsman 570, and I agree with the comments on this review. Mine cost less than $5,000 new and so my advice is: GO BUY a 570 for less than $5,000 in Union City, TN and save that extra $2K in what an 800 sportsman would cost and put it on another ATV or bang/bang toy.. What's better than 1 nice atv???- the answer is 2 nice atvs...---- LIFE IS GOOD!!!!!!!! #

you say it has engine braking but in your video you use the white EPS atv but on polaris website it says engine braking is only on the camo versions

To me it seems like the shifter is in a terrible spot. It should be up closer to the handlebars not down by your right leg. Not only is it harder to reach, I think your leg would sometimes bump it in aggressive riding, potentially knocking it out of gear and doing damage to the transmission.

Nope it isnt. And your probably gonna be riding it in h-gear so its the last gear meaning you cant knock it out of gear

I find it only being in the way of my leg when the transmission is in P, but otherwise it's fine.

It works a lot better than everyone else's 3 wheel drive and Kawasaki's stupid front diff lock handle you have to hold to actually get true 4wd.
