Bought one of these earlier this year... a 2017 registered bike with only 1,400 miles on the clock. One of the fabled Padgetts bikes lost in a warehouse for 10 years and not registered. It's mint, never seen wet roads and only started being used in 2021. It's like a new bike and will stay that way as my second bike for dry days only. Definitely a keeper!

So my compromises with this bike. Why even own it? This is a training bike the motorcycle schools use to teach folks how to ride. If you just have to have a small displacement bike, spend your hard earned cash on a Rebel 300 or Royal Enfield Meteor or something like that.

i have a 2015 deluxe and it is my favorite bike out of the 4 i’ve owned between a ninja 300, gsxr 750 and a vtx1300. The only negative of this bike which isn’t the bike itself but the 8th generation has basically no aftermarket support, so if you break something you gotta buy oem which is expensive asf

and the lack of top end is actually good for me because i like to ring the bike out but don’t want to go 170mph and itll do 135 fairly quickly and then slowly climb to anything higher than that
