Mr.Rylance is one of the best actors I've ever seen. He's a very intellegent man.

We hadn't known him as an actor before we were lucky enough to have seats onstage for this performance. We'd gone for Stephen Fry, but left in love with Rylance, as well. What a generous and interesting speech to let us know about the manner in which the Globe was rebuilt as a result of something as negative as McCarthyism causing repatriation.

Mark Rylance was a stranger for me. But watching his performance in "Bridge of spies" left speechless of admiration. He trully deserves to be nominated by the upcoming oscar ceremony and right now he has a pending golden globe nomination in that film. Also, im ready to see him work again with Steven Spielberg in "The BFG", based on the children book of Roald Dahl. He trully is going to be fantastic.

What a classy guy. I was lucky enough to see both plays in their first week in New York with my father. I don't have words to describe the depth and intelligence of the performances in the entire cast. My father loved it so much, he went back to see each play about 6 or so more times.

Thank you KZbin...I stepped away for a few minutes last night and missed MY FAVORITE ACTOR OF ALL TIME win another Tony, this time for the marvelous Twelfth Night, which was spectacular. Mark Rylance is luminous. We are fortunate to live at the same time as he is lighting up the world with his talent. If you've never seen him live, go--RUN--to his next production. It will be a night to remember. Congratulations on another fantastic performance, Sir.

For those who may be curious like I was: Rylance was presented his Tony by Orlando Bloom and Anna Gunn. I also like to explore how Tony presenters tie into Broadway, esp when most of their work is in film and television: Bloom had recently made his Broadway debut opposite Condola Rashad in “Romeo and Juliet,” which ran in 2013 from Sept-Dec, also starred Brent Carver, Jayne Houdyshell, and Corey Hawkins, and received 0 Tony noms. Anna Gunn would soon be starring opposite Billy Magnussen in an Off-Broadway production of “Sex With Strangers,” a two-person play written by Laura Eason and directed by David Schwimmer, from July 30-August 31, 2014, at Second Stage Theater. Gunn has one Broadway credit, “The Rehearsal,” which also starred Frances Conroy and Roger Rees, and ran from November 96-January 97.
