Thanks for this video series! I need to do the same thing with my 2014 and this is super helpful. May I ask how the aftermarket tail lamps are holding up? Any water ingress?

Yes, would make sure to have some plastic trim tools as I used those on the trim and to pop the light out. Some trim will take some force to get off, but should not be excessive

I could not tell specifically, but I believe bit was the seal between the frame of the light housing and the lense

@@practicallyfrugal I am going to replace both of mine on my 2016 Highlander and going to seal (caulk) the new ones in. Surprised there's no recall???

@@domes3377 none that am aware of, I tried to get this covered under warranty without success even though we paid for the 7yr/125k toyota extended warranty on it

@@domes3377 sealing them where the lense meets the body housing certainly can not hurt
