Me too, watching the sky blue Volvo up against the Triple 8 machines gave me some chills that particular morning on Viasat Motor because my first Aussie V8 memories were traced back to 2005 and saw the HRT car win Bathurst on French Television.

It's scary that this was ten years ago. 😳 I still remember watching this, pretty sure this was the first V8 Supercar race I ever watched and that battle between McLaughlin and Whincup combined with McLaughlin's 'Give it some jangle' post-race interview... Fantastic stuff! That Valvoline Volvo livery and the Pepsi Max livery on the Ford Falcon still look lovely to this day! 😍
