Hi, Barrie, May I ask for an opinion and rely on your experience? I'm just about to take a new car, and as you often says it is hard to beat Vauxhall (Opel in my case) in terms of value for money so it is my current choice. However I'm wondering Astra or Insignia. It is obvious that Insignia is the superior one, but it is a bit too big for the crowded cities, and bit more expensive to run as well. So if you have noticed and remember such detail, my question is how bad in terms of noise isolation the Astra J is, compared to the Insignia (specifically with the 2.0 diesel engine)? The noise is one of the things that I'm considering in the very top in my requirements. My goal is to have quiet run at 120 kph (75 mph I believe) and not too intrusive diesel sound at idling. I could solve the "sound problem" with a 1.4 turbo petrol, but 2.0 cdti is probably the better motorisation. Your videos gave an excellent idea of the cars. Too bad you are far too away and drive on the "wrong side" of the road, otherwise I've could just order one from a chap like you and safe myself a lot of nerves.

yeah when I had my astra only had it 2 weeks when a citreon c1 rear ended me so I got mine fixed and now I got a claim for my back too 4000 pounds comimg to me that buy some nice goddies some of your cars so fast you drive my car feels slow sometimes which its 165 bhp cherrs barrie
