I am listening to this message in January 2021 for the 4th time. It is as relevant now as it was 4-5 years ago. This has saved me today, as most of your messages do. The enemy is after me, but your encouragement and scripture are so timely. You are a gifted and blessed preacher, and your calm soothing delivery of Jesus’ truth is a healing balm for my soul. This sermon saved my life tonight. I really need to hear what you said about seminary. My grandfather was a Seabee who built the runway for the B 29 that dropped the bomb on Hiroshima then became a Mason. I'm not sure my grandfather's story on my mom's father's side during world war 2, but he was also in the Navy. Both sides of the family viciously abusive. I am a single mother of two almost adult teenagers with incredibly bright futures who need me. The enemy wants me to believe my human spirit is broken, but it's not - just not at all. It shines bright in this spiritual warfare muck. You reminded me that this is war, whether I am fighting or not, the war wages on and it is not seen by the eyes or fought with the flesh. I came by this video through algorithm. I did not seek it. That's the Holy Spirit for me - always there when I need Him. It's given my strength to keep on in the battle when I just want to go home to the Father. God will call me home in His time and even if it is more than I can handle, it's never more than He, the Holy Spirit and Jesus can handle. I gave the steering wheel to the Holy Spirit and went to the back seat to lay down until it's time for me to drive again. I was only able to do that and not give up because you said sometimes we have to tell Jesus He is our everything because God does give us more than we can handle sometimes. I never would have made it this far, this successfully without Him. Even when I didn't believe, He was fighting the enemy for me. So, another day behind me thanks to Jesus. And thank you for being so honest, Andrew.

real hurt is to be a shut in-disabled- and live 2 4/7 alone and family dont call or visit-neither do neighbors and there is no way to make friends-that;s me- i live 24/7 alone and i feel rejected and ignored and i will be 74 in few mos.this is not self pity-it is pure hurt.

That's what I am - you may benefit from my comment at the top. It is so incredibly hard to not have anyone, even family, to depend on, especially when you truly need flesh and blood help in your life. You are not alone, many understand your battle. I know it's not self pity i it's unendurable pain, senseless and inhumane, but the enemy runs this world. That's why we suffer. God bless you. You are not alone.
